Honestly the novel fell short of a riveting story as though it was written in a hurry or not out well….. I’m liking the series better. I learned a new Chinese idiom tho…. So not time wasted

I know there’s no breakup in the novel…. But the story is significantly different from the novel from ep 14 onwards so can’t say about the series

Again, I don’t think he’s right or support this zx character, but from a psychology pov it may happen that he feels delulu of betrayal…. I have seen this happen in real life is all I’m saying

But that doesn't explain why he should look after her "terminal illness". He could just appoint nurses and transact through doctors to keep his marriage going.... I don't like his character that much

It's actually the FLs dad's supposedly illegitimate daughter.... There's ambiguity regarding her actual status but she's the one that invited ml before the accident and didn't visit him after...

the novel is about the FL becoming CEO and ml returning to medicine..... There probably will be a lot of business scenes.... They were actually enjoyable in the novel.... Don't know about the series
The first 3 episodes were really boring.... After that it's actually nice

These characters and people in general have this strong delusion of being betrayed….. it’s about psychology not logic…. If the world ran on logic we wouldn’t have any problems would we? Like I said I was analysing his pov not supporting it

Edit: also, to have a character arc, some illogical things must happen to some characters so that the desired plot line can be achieved…. It’s the way authors and scriptwriters think…. I just let them have their fun and enjoy stories without getting riled up about irrational feelings of irrelevant characters

Totally agree…. He always accuses nxg of being entitled but he’s the one who’s a total pig about his looks….. why would any sane person go after someone that is taken? Does he expect nxg to behave like the villain characters from third rate vertical drama with no sense of dignity or decency??
