My Final Thoughts on The Air.
Now that The Air has officially ended and I’ve had time to reflect on the finale, I can finally share my complete thoughts.The final episode was excellent. For me, it was a beautiful conclusion that delivered the emotions I had been waiting for. Episodes 7 and 8 were definitely the ones that made me feel the most tension, emotional weight, and high stakes. It finally felt like everything the story had been building toward was paying off, and that’s exactly what I wanted to see.
My favorite part of The Air was, without a doubt, Blue and Lom’s relationship. Their development felt natural, emotional, and filled with memorable moments. The scene where Lom says she would sacrifice her life for Blue, and Blue immediately tells her never to say that again, is probably one of my favorite scenes in the entire series. I also loved the moment when Blue tells Lom that if she gave her permission, she could kiss her. That entire conversation perfectly captured the growth of their relationship.
To me, The Air had incredible potential. The premise was excellent: a princess, a bodyguard, an attempted takeover of the throne, and a forbidden romance. On paper, it had everything needed to become an outstanding romantic thriller.
However, I also feel that some of its ideas weren’t explored as much as they could have been. I genuinely think the story needed more time. In my opinion, 10 episodes would have allowed the writers to develop several characters and storylines much better.
The best example is Grace. Veronica did an amazing job portraying her, and Grace truly felt like a dangerous antagonist. That’s exactly why I wish she had stayed in the story longer. Her arc ended a little too quickly, even though there was still so much potential left to explore.
I also wish we had learned more about Hellen past. She was a fascinating character, and I believe showing more of her story would have made several emotional moments even stronger.
Despite those criticisms, I genuinely enjoyed this series. The cast did a fantastic job, Freen and Becky once again delivered wonderful performances, and the entire production team deserves a lot of praise.
For now, I’m giving The Air a 9/10. If I had the option, I would probably rate it 8.8/10, but since I can’t, I’ll happily go with a 9.
Now I’m looking forward to The Fire. Once all four elements have been released, I’ll rank them again and maybe even adjust my scores. But one thing is certain: The Air will remain a series that I truly enjoyed and won’t forget anytime soon.

Now that all four elements are finally finished, I can say that 4 Elements was honestly a huge success for me. ❤️Every element had something different to offer, and even though people will obviously have their own favorites and some may point out flaws in certain parts, I think that’s completely normal. What matters to me is that every element had its own identity, its own story, its own characters, and gave us something to enjoy. I’m sure everyone came out of this project with their own favorite element.
As for my personal ranking, Fire is my clear #1. 🔥 Nothing is changing that. Fire was simply the element I connected with the most. I loved Fai’s character development, the relationship with Kaphrao, their chemistry, the emotional moments, the misunderstandings finally being resolved, and everything that made their story feel special to me.
But honestly, Earth, Air and Water are interchangeable for me. 🌍🌪️💧 I could put them in different orders depending on the day because I enjoyed all three for different reasons. Earth impressed me, especially considering it was the first element and had to introduce this whole concept. Air gave me the chance to see Freen and Becky again, which I really appreciated. And Water stayed in my mind more than I expected because I loved Nam’s character, the atmosphere, the wedding, and especially the moments we got to see after the wedding.
What I also really loved about 4 Elements is what this project represents for GL as a whole. It showed that different companies and teams can come together to create one bigger project and give different actors and pairings their own moment.
It also brought together two of the biggest GL fandoms through Freen & Becky and Engfa & Charlotte, while at the same time introducing us to pairings we might not have known before. We got to discover new couples, new actors, and new chemistry that surprised and impressed us.
And honestly, that’s one of the biggest successes of this project for me. It showed that something like this is possible. Maybe future GL projects will be even bigger, more ambitious, and more connected, but 4 Elements proved that the idea can work.
So a huge thank you to North Star and everyone involved in bringing this project to life. For a project of this scale and for something that felt like a first step in this direction, I genuinely think it was a total success.

I’m honestly just grateful that we got to experience all four. ❤️ 4 Elements may not have been perfect, but as a project, I think it was a complete success.

My final thoughts on Enemies with Benefits ❤️
Honestly… I don’t have much to say because this series was simply a joy from beginning to end.I already had a great feeling when Jane and JingJing were announced as the main pairing, and the trailer only confirmed it. In the end, the series even exceeded my expectations.
Jane and JingJing’s chemistry was amazing. The romantic scenes were sweet, the comedy genuinely made me laugh, and every episode left me excited for the next one. I never felt like the quality dropped. From the first episode to the finale, it was just pure enjoyment.
This is one of those GLs where I don’t even feel like looking for flaws or overanalyzing everything. I simply had a great time every single week, and sometimes that’s exactly what a series is supposed to do.
For me, it’s a true gem and one of the best GLs of the year. Its current rating is absolutely deserved.
Now all that’s left is to wait for the special episodes. I can’t wait! ❤️

Han-gyeol méritait une vraie conclusion * Une fin ouverte qui m’a laissé sur ma faim
really loved this series, its characters, its time-loop concept, and especially Han-gyeol’s development. But I am extremely frustrated by the ending.My problem is not just that the ending is open-ended. My problem is that Han-gyeol’s character arc feels unfinished.
Throughout the entire series, we watch him make mistakes, regret his choices, struggle to be honest about his feelings, and fail to move forward. We watch him realize what he lost and how important Yeji truly was to him. The entire story seemed to be building toward one thing: the moment when he would finally change.
And just when that moment arrives, the story ends.
Yes, I am frustrated that Han-gyeol and Yeji do not officially end up together. After all that development, all those loops, all those regrets, I wanted to see Han-gyeol finally accept his feelings and build a real relationship with her.
The final scene tells us that in the 33rd loop, he will love Yeji from the very beginning. But that’s exactly what I wanted to see.
I wanted to see Han-gyeol become the one who takes the first step. I wanted to watch him pursue her. I wanted to see him put in the effort to win her heart instead of waiting for her to come to him like in the previous loops. I wanted to see the complete opposite of everything we had seen before.
We are finally shown a Han-gyeol who is ready to change, but we never actually get to see that change happen.
What frustrates me even more is that we never get the reward for all that development. We never see Han-gyeol escape the loop. We never see his life after high school. We don’t even know what kind of future he wants for himself.
Kim Ji-won received a complete conclusion. We understand her dream, her growth, her freedom, and her future. We get to see her reach her goal. But for Han-gyeol, the main character, the story stops right before the finish line.
I wanted to see the entire final loop. I wanted to see Han-gyeol and Yeji fall in love under completely different circumstances. I wanted to see their dates, their relationship, their arguments, their reconciliation, and their love grow naturally.
I also wanted to see what happens after high school. I wanted to watch them enter university, discover their goals, build their futures, and pursue their dreams. I wanted to see how their relationship evolves over time.
And honestly, I would have loved to see them years later, after university, after finally escaping the loop for good. To see them as adults, successful and happy. To see them reunite with Kim Ji-won and the other characters and show where everyone ended up in life.
To me, that would have been the true ending of the story.
That’s why this ending frustrates me so much. Because I loved this series. Because I cared about these characters. Because I wanted to see Han-gyeol succeed.
I didn’t need the story to tell me that he was finally going to love Yeji.
I needed to see it.
And that’s why it feels like this story is missing an entire final arc.
