10/10 i missed bl dramas like this

10/10 i missed bl dramas like this…………………..…..…………………………………
It's been so long since i watched a bl drama that naturally treated gay romance. There are no tiring, fetishizing (sub)plots, no silly drama and no exaggerated characters.
The simplicity of this drama is its strength. Simple gestures, just like akira buying kanata a bracelet or their conversations on the rooftop, make this drama feel so intimate and tangible.
I know the drama is still ongoing, but i just had to leave a review already. The japanese bl industry has been feeding us well with directors that treat their projects as art and not just content.

09/10 Fluidity

09/10 Fluidity…………………….:………………………..
Everything flows in the movie. Everything is fluid. Fluid professions, fluid nationalities, friendships, sexualities, relationships, values, priorities. But the flow is bridged with gentle grace, even with the most ruthless realities.
I really wanted to wish all the characters the very best, but I needn't bother - because they seem quite capable of gritty survival. Most of them. All in all, it's about sadness, wistfulness, resignation, persistence- all captured in the lead's eyes. Good movie.
P.s - I really hope people don't straight-wash the male bonding and intimacy. It definitely adds to the film, and I hope it isn't hijacked.

10/10 Interesting plot, great Thai movie with beautiful scenes.

10/10 Interesting plot, great Thai movie with beautiful scenes.
This film is highly intense with a rather heavy storyline. For a Thai viewer who understands the social and economic disparities in certain areas, it is even more moving. The pertormances are impressive despite having only 4-5 actors. The plot is intriguing, and the visuals are stunning.
The film's lighting and sound are reminiscent of *Parasite*, but it is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, the director of *Poor Things*. The story is not boring but constantly creates a sense of discomfort. Some scenes and dialogue are so well-written that they provoke an audible reaction. Kudos to GH for producing a film of this nature.

10/10 A Truly Wonderful Movie

10/10 A Truly Wonderful Movie
It was Christmas Eve and I wanted to watch this movie and Cherry Magic. I put on the fire, made dinner and settled down to watch this film. I had to pause three times just to absorb just how raw and empathic this movie was to watch.
By the end, I was done. I couldn't manage to watch anything else. The narrative, the character development, the dialogue between the boy and the pastor, the realism and the cast are exceptional.
It's a movie that will communicate to many, that their experience and struggle through life, just to live in society, is understood and they're not alone. It reaches the soul.

8/10 Great ~20 minute stories

There are quite a lot of short series that fall short of good ratings from me, mainly because they fail at telling whole stories in a satisfying and impactful way given the small amount of time they have for each episode. This series however, was not one of them.
- The first story was...admittedly boring for me, but the second and third one's were very interesting to watch.
- The second one had a unique plot twist at the end which I didn't really expect, and the third one was just HEARTBREAKING. The way it ended was just so.... I gasped, I cried, and then I moved on to the 4th story Imao. BUT IT WAS GOOD!
- The fourth one felt the most like a normal drama. It was also a nice change of pace after witnessing the 3rd story's ending, and as the finale to the series as a whole, it was quite satisfying.
- Oh, normal review stuff: the camerawork was honestly pretty top tier, the acting was phenomenal, and the concept/ storylines were also well written. Blah blah blah - But anyways, YES! I highly recommend this if you're looking for a mini series to watch. It's one of the best ones 1 personally ever viewed.

10/10 Review - "Business As Usual"

10/10 Review - "Business As Usual"
"Business As Usual" is not just another BL drama. It is a meditation on wounds, trust, and the process of healing oneself-slowly, honestly, and very humanly.
For me personally, this drama felt like reopening an old wound that had not yet healed. Min Joon-with his deep trust issues, the way he withdraws, closes doors, and keeps everything to himself-is so close to what I feel in real life. His fear of attachment, his worry about repeating trauma, and his desire to be trusted but not knowing how... it's all heartbreaking.
In contrast, Ji Hwan comes across as someone who not only loves, but also understands and respects wounds. He's not perfect, but he's there. He doesn't force, but he persists. He loves Min Joon not because he wants to "fix" him, but because he sees value in the healing process itself. Their relationship develops slowly-not instantly, not explosively, but quietly and real, and that's why it's so touching.
Their chemistry is incredibly natural. There's depth in every look, silences that speak louder than words, and acting that feels so honest. The drama avoids overused tropes and chooses to tell the story of two fragile people-and that's its greatest strength.
As someone who still struggles with fear, guilt, and old trauma, Business As Usual gives me hope: that safe love exists. That healing is possible, even when it's slow. And that we deserve to be loved, even when we're not perfect.
My personal score: 10/10 Not because it's a perfect drama, but because it's honest. And sometimes, honesty is the most healing form of love.

7/10 Sashes and Hearts: Unique Concept, Mixed Execution

Sashes and Hearts' concept is honestly unique. A BL series centered around male pageantry? That's super fresh. I haven't seen anything quite like it, especially from Thailand, where pageantry in BL isn't really explored. Props to the creators for trying something different!
That said, one thing that threw me off a bit is the huge cast.
There are just so many characters, it gets a little overwhelming trying to keep up with everyone's story. It makes the show feel a bit crowded and chaotic at times.
In addition, it has so many uninteresting plots, like they just threw in to fill a space and make the series lengthy. And also too many nonsensical dialogues.
Now let's talk couples... The main leads, Mac and Larence have a good chemistry. Mac Alonzo's acting is good, it feels natural, while Larence Brenches little needs improvement.
The second couple doesn't really click for me. The chemistry just isn't there. Oddly enough, I found more spark between Jack and his best friend, Tony. I was honestly hoping they'd end up together instead!
Most of the actors here haven't starred in major movies or
TV series, and I hadn't even heard of them before watching this. But I have to give special props to Gian Carl, who plays Tony-his performance felt incredibly natural, with zero awkwardness.
Also, major kudos to Oxin Films. I've always noticed that a lot of Filipino BLs tend to struggle with budget limitations, but this one feels like they really put in the effort. You can tell they invested in the visuals, production, and overall quality.
Sashes and Hearts is a fresh take with potential, even if it's not perfect.

10/10 The truly good things sometimes lie in simplicity.

10/10 The truly good things sometimes lie in simplicity.
This is a very nice, cute series.
Although there is a bit of a crime story in the film, it still reminds me of the "age of innocence" with its simple story and lovable characters.
Therefore, I am glad that this is not a deeply thought-provoking film that stirs up human feelings, but a series that provides perfect relaxation for people living in an increasingly complicated world and struggling with many difficulties.
Thanks to the director, the crew and the excellent actors for this great series!
1 am increasingly experiencing that very high-quality films and film series are being made in Taiwan in the fields of dramas and lighter genres.

10/10 WOW

10/10 WOW
After a long time we got a good series, with a story plot. I like how many actions scene we got. I even didn't needed to skip, cause every scene was that good. Love how they didn't focused on just giving us NC scenes and gave us instead beautiful romantic fully meaning scenes.
I even liked how they mixed it with Korea x Thai. It felt new and very different. Ever character did an amazing performance.
I thank everyone for their hard work. I definitely would recommend you to watch that series. You will not get bored and it's not even cringe like not even one scene. I definitely need more series like this.

10/10 Heartwarming, Funny, and Comfortingly Real

I'm Tee, Me Too is a beautifully warm and comforting series that blends friendship, healing, and gentle humor in the most natural way. What begins as a simple story about an orphaned college student trying to save his home slowly turns into a heartfelt journey of companionship and emotional growth.
Each character named "Tee" is unique and lovable, representing different personalities, struggles, and emotional wounds. The chemistry among the cast is outstanding, making their friendships feel genuine and deeply relatable. The series balances light comedy with emotional moments, creating a cozy and wholesome viewing experience.
What truly makes I'm Tee, Me Too special is its message-that healing doesn't always come from romance, but from understanding, friendship, and being there for one another.
It's soft, sincere, and emotionally satisfying.

8/10 You won't find a more open minded asian drama in kdramaland ever

This drama should be shown as mandatory in all schools in asian countries as sex education and values and morals in general so they learn how to respect each individuals rights, feelings and decisions early on, l am from an European country when this is very normal but I know in Asian countries subjects as homosexuality, abortion, women's rights/feminism or sex in general are very taboo so I'm so happy a drama like this portrayed so well everyone of them.
Acting is average ( some actors better than others), and you can tell is a very low budget one. But good enough chemistry in general.
Regarding the actual storylines and plots, this series could have been fantastic, I understand so good what they wanted to do with it, and it is beautiful. It has so much potential. It just has a bit of a poor execution when it comes to telling the stories.
I think it is because it has so many subplots and it's so little time to tell them so there's not really time to dig deeper into them. So it felt shallow at times and a bit chaotic. The biggest twist at the end was the best and the most emotional too, well done to the writers because until then I was thinking the story was a bit too weak.
Overall I think its a show worth watching, you will love all the learnings the characters take on their way and look forward to discover what the hell happens with the mystery of the camera!

10/10 The Story and the Screenplay

Low you teacher is a kind of series that makes the audience seated. The storyline is engaging. The story is really out of box still in the line. I mean something new and fresh. More than the story, the screenplay is very important. The sequence of the scenes are well executed. The one who organized the scenes deserves a raise.
Another important key is the actors portrayal of the Characters. In this case, Perth is really amazing. He proved why he is one of the most talented artists. Santa is more than I expected. The absolute level of his acting is when he portrays both Sun and Solar in different ways. Sun is naughty and stubborn while Solar is well mannered and mature. Kay, Man!! Really He is something else, who knows he can nail all the roles like this one which is fun and joy different from his past roles. Having Sammy in the series is Gold. She knows what she is doing.
The story and their acting are more engaging like I can't even skip a second.
~Please excuse any English mistakes.

8/10 Two-and a Half Couples

I always found it irritating when people wrote "my honest review" in the past. Before I knew BL series, lol. I thought, who would write a dishonest review? Well, now 1 know. I have seen many 10s and 1s for series who clearly didn't deserve it.
Love Alert was, I saw, not really well received, and I can understand why. Still, the question for me as reviewer has two be twofold: what did the creators aim for, and was I entertained? On a very basic level I have to answer to both: yes.
As to the details, it was a decent enough story. A red flag character breaks the heart of a green flag guy, with a surrounding cast. Now as a gay man I testify, people like Jimmy just exist - and I assume among straight people just as well. But then there were two important messages: first, we cannot command whom to love. That too I have seen, mostly ending bad. I have an ex who always fell in love with guys treating him bad with no happy ends. But is that life as it always is, and can stories not give us hope? Hope that bad people can change? And in grim times such as these, at least for my part it is a hope I do not wish to let go, call me naive. I never was in the shoes of these two, but I want to believe that a change can happen, and through what if not love? Jimmy did get his good share of suffering, and as the saying goes, mercy is given unearned, for if we have to earn it, it is not forgivance. And despite it all, my heart is not yet so hardend. As such I did overall enjoy the plot. For it gives me hope.
The acting was alright, it wasn't top acting or top looking actors, 1 am honest with that, though I think the bad guy turned good was good looking. Call the question of looks shallow, but in love stories made film I think that does matter. The changes of the behavior from all six people involved was interesting to see, and just because one was a red flag, I don't think it deserves to be hated as series, especially since l am usually relatively thin skinned to watch suffering, I did not feel it was so over the top. The kissing was a bit lacking, but then it often is, so I did not want to set the bar too high just for that. The NC was nice, not too much to be bored (I AM LOOKING AT YOU PEACH LOVER!), and sensitive enough to be nice. Each character was displayed with a clearly distinct character and a decent enough character development. Just from a gut feeling I had a good time with it, and ending with "Two- and a Half Couples" I felt well enough at the ending.
As such I give it
7.5/10 better than expected.

10/10 More Than Just a Romance

10/10 More Than Just a Romance
Peach Lover is a soft, intimate BL that follows two characters searching for their place in the world. Through Po, who experiences many emotional firsts, and Sasom, a former collector looking for meaning, the series builds a quiet yet powerful connection.
What makes it stand out is its honesty: no manipulation, just open communication and space to grow. The slow, sensual pacing lets the audience evolve alongside the characters.
Visually, the contrast between warm and cold tones reflects their emotional journey, leading to a brighter, more open ending.
More than a romance, Peach Lover is about being seen, understood, and finally existing through someone else's eyes.
In short... I'm a huge fan.
