9/10 A dark romance played by Fort and Peat

9/10 A dark romance played by Fort and Peat………………………………………………………….
This is Fort and Peat's third collaboration.
They star in this drama produced by Tri Creation.
Completely different from the previous two films, this is a dark romance between Kelvin (Peat), who loves and obsesses over Vier (Fort), and Vier, who rejects him.
Both Fort and Peat are even more expressive than in the previous two films.
Kelvin's appearance at the beginning of Ep2 was particularly frightening.
I recommend watching Ep1 and Ep2 back to back, as you can see the emotional conflict between Vier and Kelvin.

10/10 Soft Paws, Sharp Feels

10/10 Soft Paws, Sharp Feels
Cat for Cash is one of those rare dramas that quietly pulls you in and then absolutely devastates you-in the gentlest, most unexpected way.
At first glance, it plays like a quirky, feel-good BL rom-com:
Lynx, an interpreter who resents his late mother and hates cats, is forced to take over her debt-ridden cat café. To clear the debt, he ends up working with Tiger-a kind-hearted (and very handsome) debt collector who loves cats and can somehow understand their meows. It's an odd, almost whimsical premise, but the series handles it with surprising sincerity and emotional depth.
What starts as an enemies-to-lovers setup gradually unfolds into a deeply personal story about grief, abandonment, and reconciliation.
The emotional turning point comes early with the death of Lynx's mother, Je Meow. Her passing doesn't just set the plot in motion-it defines it. Lynx's grief is messy, layered with resentment and unresolved pain. He isn't just mourning her death; he's mourning a relationship that never felt whole.
As the series progresses, the café becomes more than just a setting-it becomes a space of healing. The cats, each with distinct personalities, act as emotional bridges between Lynx and the memories he's been trying to avoid.
One of the most devastating arcs involves Grandma Juju, Lynx's first adopted cat. In a heartbreaking moment, Lynx finally gains the ability to understand cats-just in time to hear Juju thank him and say goodbye before passing away.
That scene is quietly brutal. No over-the-top dramatics-just raw, restrained emotion that hits deeply.
Equally powerful is Lynx's reconciliation with his mother.
Through memories, conversations, and the lives she left behind, he begins to understand her love in a way he never could before. It's not a clean resolution-but it's honest, and that's what makes it land.
At the heart of the series is the relationship between Lynx and Tiger.
Unlike many BLs that rely on external conflict or drawn-out misunderstandings, their connection develops organically-through silence, shared routines, and small acts of care. It's a slow burn that prioritises emotional intimacy over physical expression.
Tiger stands out as a refreshing male lead. Despite being a debt collector, he's gentle, emotionally intuitive, and deeply compassionate-especially when it comes to Lynx and the cats. There's also a subtle but powerful layer to his character: his love for cats despite being allergic to them. It becomes a metaphor for loving something fully, even when you can't hold it close.
Lynx, on the other hand, carries the emotional weight of the story. His journey-from guarded, resentful, and emotionally distant to someone capable of accepting love-is the strongest arc in the series.
That said, the romance may feel understated for some viewers. The series leans heavily into emotional connection, with minimal physical affection. It's a deliberate choice-artistic and refreshing-but it does leave the relationship sitting in a slightly ambiguous space at times.
The series is anchored by the chemistry and restraint of its leads: First Kanaphan as Tiger delivers a soft, grounded performance filled with warmth and quiet sincerity.
Khaoutung Thanawat as Lynx offers a more subdued, internalised portrayal-proving his range with a performance that relies on silence as much as dialogue. Satang Kittiphop as Leo adds tension and emotional contrast. Fresh Arisara as Je Meow leaves a lasting impression-her presence is comforting, even in absence. Even the names of the characters are feline and I love it.
Directed by Kornphom Niyomsilp, the series takes a more intimate, character-driven approach. It avoids flashy storytelling in favour of quiet, reflective moments.
The screenplay by Pongsate Lucksameepong and Nichapat Buranadilok is one of its strongest elements. The pacing is deliberately slow, allowing characters to breathe and relationships to develop naturally. Instead of forcing drama, it builds emotional investment through routine, silence, and subtle gestures.
Visually, the series leans into warm tones, soft lighting, and intimate framing. The cat café feels like a sanctuary-filled with memory, affection, and unresolved pain. The cinematography often feels like watching memories unfold rather than scenes.
The soundtrack deserves special mention. It's subtle but incredibly effective-knowing exactly when to hold back and when to amplify emotion. Even the opening credits, featuring the cats in playful montages, set the tone beautitully.
At its core, Cat for Cash explores: Grief and unresolved family trauma, forgiveness and reconciliation, found family and love in its quietest, most patient form. It also uses cats as a central metaphor-representing independence, distance, and silent affection. The relationship between Lynx and Tiger mirrors this beautifully: one distant and guarded, the other open and quietly persistent.
In a genre often driven by high drama and big twists, Cat for Cash chooses a softer path. It's smaller in scale, slower in pace, and far more intimate in execution.
It won't be for everyone-especially if you're expecting a more conventional BL with clear romantic milestones. But if you're open to something quieter, more reflective, and deeply emotional, this series delivers.
It doesn't scream for attention. It doesn't force its impact.
It simply stays with you.
I laughed, I cried... and then I cried again. And for a story this gentle to leave that kind of mark-that's something special.

09/10 Boss' Love

09/10 Boss' Love
This is a Thai remake of Japan's "Ossan's Love" from 2018. I haven't watched the original, yet. So I can't make any comparison between this one and the original. I'm just gonna review it as a separate series instead. This rom-com
BL series felt like a sit-com which is forced to be in a different format. I think it would fare better as a sit-com.
Cause the plot seemed more suitable for a sit-com. They're using Earth-Mix as the couple of this series, a famous couple among BL fans. They've played in many BL series together as a couple. Their chemistry is undeniable. I guess after all these years working together, it would be weird if they don't have a great chemistry. The plot is ridiculously hilarious, pure comedy. I think that that's the strongest point of this series. It doesn't have any steamy NC scenes, but has a good ending.

10/10 Great story

Love love love the series………………………………. .
That was so much fun. For me they've hit the perfect blend of serious and humour and I enjoyed it a lot.
The sets are really good, and I was going to comment on other aspects, but really just loved every part of it - not a step out of place.
Casting was top notch too and I can't wait to continue learning about all of them as we get further into the story and find answers to the questions we have now and that I'm sure they'll continue to pose.

09/10 Light, Funny, Romantic

09/10 Light, Funny, Romantic😻🥰😻🥰😻🥰😻🥰😻🥰
I like the light story about having crush on a senior in school.
A lot of funny dialogue in which could make you smile or laugh without realizing. The actors are all quite young and new on acting, so don't compare it to those who got oscars.
But having cast of Handsome as the senior and the very cute one as the junior are great choice. Great soundtrack. Just search for the lyrics and meaning. It suits the series quite much.
Hopefully they are gonna get another few seasons.
I Can’t Wait!!

8/10 Sweet But Not Sugar-Coated

I honestly didn't expect much at first, but I ended up really enjoying it - glad I gave it a shot because the episodes just keep getting better. I originally watched this for Guide, but I ended up staying for the whole squad.
Bake Me Please can be a bit cliché - the classic sunshine guy falls for the cold and grumpy one - but somehow, it still kept me entertained. As painful as some parts are, the series gives off this warm, comforting vibe.
It also touches on how complicated relationships can get, and the emotional struggles that come with being in one.
Plus, it dives into the reality of unrequited love - loving someone who just doesn't love you back.
---
What I liked:
There are only a few characters, so the story's easy
to follow.
The production value is pretty solid.
The cinematography is beautiful, and the OST hits
just right.
Peach and Chin have decent chemistry - it's not fiery,
but it works.
Everyone did a great job, especially Ohm and Poom, but I
have to give a special shoutout to Guide - I just love his accent.
It would've been even better if Poom had more screen
time or was one of the main leads.
The love square actually added a little spice without
making things toxic.
Supportive grandma
What didn'twork for me:
Chin's character is honestly hard to root for-he's too unreasonable, self-centered, and barely grows throughout the series.
The lack of clear communication (especially on Chin's
end) gets frustrating.
I lowkey wished Peach and Guy were the endgame, but
of course that's not happening - Ohm (Chin) is clearly one of the main leads.
Overall, Bake Me Please is a cooking-themed BL with a simple, easy-to-digest plot and easy on the eyes cast. It's not a masterpiece, but it feels grounded and the casting was on point.
If you're looking for a BL series you can binge in one sitting without getting emotionallywrecked, give Bake Me Please a
shot.

9/10 Shallow Night

9/10 Shallow Night………………………………………
It's another Thai BL series about host club. Although it's not as lame and stupid as "Time",
", it still not as good as
"Playboyy" in my opinion. I feel like the conflicts in this series are not as serious and deep as "Playboyy"
". Even
though this is the first Thai BL that boldly featured polyamory (at least as far as I know). Sounds ironic when compared to it's title. The plot was stretched too thin. I think that if some useless scenes being cut out, this series can be completed in 6 episodes. There were too many scenes which being dragged unnecessarily, that it felt kinda boring from time to time. The visuals were great though, so that's a plus. The acrobatic shows were amazing.

5/10 Boring Milk

5/10 Boring Milk………………………………………….
This Thai BL series tells a story of Nomjuet, a naive junior at a college. As you can see how problematic that plot is. Is there such a thing as a naive junior college student?! At that age he should've been matured quite a bit. But this story made him look like an overgrown kindergarten boy. If that's not bad enough, the story itself is boring as hell. The most interesting part about it is about the love rivalry. And even that part is still boring, cause the love rivals are very tame.
There's no real antagonists in this series. Hence there are zero meaningful conflicts. I fell asleep a lot when I was watching it.A waste of time.

10/10 This was a Big Girl Series

10/10 This was a Big Girl Series
Can I say that the people were all beautiful... but my lead couple was on point. The cinematography was so beautiful that I caught myself replaying some of the scenes... Salin's waistline was insane... make me want to workout, lol. I thought I would've like the story line but it was good. The clothing attires were sharp. But Salin'a runway outfit was stunning. He looked so beautiful. The visualization of the outside shots were beautiful. So beautiful that it crossed my mind to want to visit the locations. I have watched it once but headed out to grab a nice bottle of wine and binge watch it again. Because I know I missed keep points as I have to read the caption. I would put this in my library to pull out on the weekend.

9/10 "Rearrange": A Second Chance Wrapped In Warmth And Silence

9/10 "Rearrange": A Second Chance Wrapped In Warmth And Silence
"Rearrange" is not just a series; it's an emotional journey that will stay with you long after the credits roll. From the first episode to the last, the acting is extraordinary - raw, authentic, and so deeply felt. The main leads share a chemistry that transcends the screen, each glance, each touch filled with unspoken emotion. And then there's the second couple, whose connection is just as powerful. They were more than just a subplot; their story was just as rich and full of heart, adding layers of love and complexity to this beautifully woven narrative.
The plot itself is something special. It isn't your typical love story. It's a meditation on second chances and the regret that comes with not taking those opportunities when they present themselves. The message is clear: if you ever get the chance to go back and rewrite your mistakes, you must take it. In real life, we rarely get a second shot at things, and
"Rearrange" reminds us of how precious those moments are. It's a bittersweet lesson, one that I found myself reflecting on long after I finished watching.
This series stirred emotions in me that I didn't even realize I needed to feel. It was like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a cold day - comforting, protective, and tender. There's something deeply beautiful in how this story made me reconnect with emotions I had lost somewhere along the way. But there's also a sadness to it. A feeling of emptiness, as if something precious has ended, leaving only memories behind.
The impact of "Rearrange" is more than just entertainment.
It's a quiet, lingering presence, like a song that stays with you long after it's stopped playing. The moments, the feelings, the lessons - they'll stay with me forever. I know I'll keep thinking about this series, about these characters, long after the final episode. And while that leaves me with a kind of bittersweet ache, it's also a reminder that this series gave me something I can't easily forget - a piece of my heart that I never knew Inaadad.
"Rearrange" was a rare gift, one I'm grateful for. I'll miss it deeply, but l'll carry it with me always. 9/10.

10/10 This Underrated Series Stole My Heart

10/10 This Underrated Series Stole My Heart
never expected to like this series. I ended up loving it.
The acting is a solid 10/10 it was SO good. Especially a scene where Sunshine auditions for a play, I sobbed.
The plot is so solid, I wasn't left confused or bothered, I was interested the entire time. It has such a big message about being able to let go and selflessness, it was really beautiful and full of angst. The stories they told like fairytales were some of my favorite parts.
There is a big slow-burn dynamic which was absolutely amazing. The relationship between Q and Sunshine was an amazing mystery to unravel, and the ending-- without spoiling anything I'll just say that it was more than perfect.
When they both say a single word at the same time a big realization was revealed. It was so beautiful, emotional, profound, and it made it to my favorites. I wish more people would watch this series.

8/10 ABL Ghost, Time Travel And Reincarnation In One Story

I honestly didn't expect much from this series at first, but it turned out to be pretty decent. The first episode felt kind of vague and confusing, but things started to make sense around episode two, and that's when the thrill kicked in.
The Hidden Moon follows five friends who stay in an old house in Chiang Mai for work but mysteriously can't find their way back to Bangkok. It's the only ghost BL series I've seen so far that actually gave me chills, most others either lean into comedy or end up being overly dramatic. I really liked how the story blends modern-day elements with the old era.
Mas, the main character, has a confusing love-hate dynamic with Khen in the early episodes. At first, he literally tries to kill him, then suddenly starts treating him kindly. His character can be a bit hard to read, and what's even more puzzling is how Khen just quietly goes along with everything. I've seen some people bashing Bing's character, but honestly, I think he's just looking out for his friends and trying to break them out of the loop they're stuck in. He's just expressive and always thinks about their well-being, and I appreciate that. I kind of predicted the plot twist early on, especially when I noticed how Khen couldn't be seen by Mas' friends or family.
As for the chemistry between the leads, it is okay, not super fiery, but not bad either. One of the actors feels a little stiff in some scenes, but this is their first series, so 1 get it.
There's definitely potential there. The pacing is a bit slow in some parts, but I stayed hooked because I'm a sucker for anything historical and supernatural with a touch of romance.
There are a lot of twists in the story, which sometimes felt a bit overwhelming. The subplot involving Khampuan adds to the creepy vibe, but it didn't feel fully connected to the main plot.
The visuals are gorgeous, it has this nostalgic, old-film aesthetic that I really loved. The cinematography actually reminded me of I Feel You Linger in the Air. And the OST?
Chef's kiss. It fits the tone of the series perfectly.
What blew my mind is how the series managed to weave together a ghost story, time travel, and even reincarnation by the end in one story. The Hidden Moon definitely has promise. Some scenes could've been executed better, and a few parts were confusing, but overall, it's a solid watch for me.

9/10 Liked It The First Time - I Loved It The Second Time

I first saw this movie on Netflix a few months back. It wasn't advertised as a "gay" movie, but I watched the preview and it was certainly giving off those vibes.
Sure enough it was definitely a love story between two young men, but with no kissing or traditional romance stuff you'd expect from a regular gay movie.
Adter it was over 1 knew I enjoyed it, but it was nothing to write home about. The actors were good looking, the locations and scenery were beautiful, and the story was a little complicated but I was able to follow along
Then a couple of nights ago I was up late and I started watching it again knowing that usually when I rewatch a somewhat "slow" movie I'll get sleepy and go to bed.
Boy was I wrong.
With the knowledge of seeing it before and knowing the outcomes of the movie and the characters, especially their motivations, it was like watching the movie for the first time all over again.
No spoilers, but what the characters do and why just changes ecerything. I also paid a lot more attention to the dialog than I I did the first time. I watch with subtitles and trust me when I saw if you miss just even a small but if the conversations, you'll going to miss a lot of key relevations.
I think because this was a gay love story the director and writer had to really tone down that part which I understand culturally. They definitely do not market this as a gay movie.
But trust me, that's all this is - the story of two young men literally destined to meet and be together.
It was amazing.
