Well, in one of the ep ( I don’t remember which one ) Gi-hwan asked Tae-ju about her, and he said he’s no longer in contact with her. So I don’t think it’s her, but another crime that will be revealed in the next eps.

He made the wrong decision by protecting his brother, who almost killed his gf. I think he wasn’t completely sure that his brother was the killer, so he was afraid the detective would pressure and abuse him into confessing, just like what happened to him. But once he finally asked him directly and realized he really was the killer, he died.
Why didn’t Lee Gi-beom say that it wasn’t him who ran to the girl to give her the umbrella, but his brother? That would’ve been the biggest clue that his brother was the real killer, and since Tae-ju already suspected him, he would’ve investigated the matter more thoroughly. But Gi-beom chose to stay silent even tho he was 99% sure his brother was the killer.

I knew it from the first ep, but I was confused because the K-drama made you suspect everyone, In the end it turned out to be the brother. Poor Lee Gi-beom.
It’s giving so much suspense, like I literally suspected everyone the prosecutor, the two brothers, and the one with the mole under his lips, and the real serial killer still hasn’t appeared yet. From what the serial killer said that Kang Tae Ju used to talk to him informally, it seems like he is someone who used to be in his friendzone. Also i don’t think Lee Gi Beom’s friend with blood type O is the one, I’m not really suspecting his friends, but someone else that Kang Tae Ju already knows.

She resigned from her job, then decided she was ready to break up and went back to her hometown, while he was trying to find a solution so he wouldn’t lose her. Why the breakup?! He even went to Beijing for you and was ready to do everything for you. You just needed to communicate, and the problem would’ve been solved. Why do you always have the idea of breaking up in your head?
From this, I already knew the relationship wouldn’t last long and that she would be the one to end it. She also loved him, but not as much as he loved her.
