One of the best dramas—it deserves a higher rating than 8.2. I give it a 9.0

In the Wiki version, Consort Dugu was the beloved wife of her husband, Emperor Daizong of Tang (Li Chu), and they had two children. However, she is largely ignored in the series. The author should have been more thorough when it comes to historical facts.

Ideally, the Spirit Lord would only favor truly superior human man, even superior to men from the spirit realm, not just because of their good looks. But why are our "ML" looking increasingly childish? Why not just focus on realizing his original ambitions as general?

In 2026, who still enjoys watching this series? No matter how many times I watch it, I still love it. This series gets a score of 8.5. If any series gets a score of 9 or higher, ask MDL if it's worth it (though it's definitely hard to do better than Dong Yi)?

I'm just looking for scenes where the ML can look more manly, defeating and punishing his enemies. The previous ZLH series (e.g., TPR, SKP) were much better, but they didn't reach 9.0.

Up until episode 19, it's increasingly unclear what our ML's true strength is, other than being too gentle with his 'little wife.' Meanwhile, the problems he has to solve are getting more and more complicated. I really hate the cruelty depicted by the author in this series, the slaughter of the weak and violence against women, it's disgusting. So 9.1 is too much, where did this come from?

Rose, LYF/CL, is like a heart-destroying virus. Not only the men in the series, but even men all over the world will fall in love with her, once they see her movies, it's true. LYF's casting as Rose is spot on.

WZW, her beauty and acting are truly mature. LYN, the antagonist's face that was "forced" to be the protagonist, I'm bored of watching him, he's used too often.
