Here, the Crown Prince—who needs a child as an heir and is sickly with a short life expectancy—is already married but isn't allowed to "touch his wife," nor is he permitted to love another woman (he even rejects a proposal from a beautiful princess). What exactly does the author want? Author of this series must be a selfish woman who has never experienced the pleasures of making love.

The male protagonist begins his story as a servant and remains in that role until the end. Aside from his obsession with love, there is nothing about his character that captivates the audience. Despite the appeal of various elements—including the erotic scenes—the show ultimately receives a low rating here.

Is this supposed to be about sacrifice for the sake of love? ZLH has a military background—but what is the point of that if there isn't actually a war story? In reality, the filming was confined entirely to the house or indoor settings.

Physically, the female lead isn't the King's child; she is frail, though her spirit (Gu...) is perhaps intelligent, resolute, and driven by a desire for revenge. Yet, why did the author craft her character to be so overconfident and arrogant? Even more ridiculous is how, despite being a wife, she refuses to be "touched" even when simply sleeping. A marriage unconsummated sexually is a common trope in Chinese series, serving to create opportunities for the woman to be pursued by other men. What a fool this groom is

Compared to the *BoP* drama—which is also currently airing—this one has a better story. Even though *BoP* is packed with great actors and both hold an 8.4 rating on MDL, this drama boasts a higher rating on IMDb. Unfortunately, it only has 28 episodes.

One of the best dramas—it deserves a higher rating than 8.2. I give it a 9.0

In the Wiki version, Consort Dugu was the beloved wife of her husband, Emperor Daizong of Tang (Li Chu), and they had two children. However, she is largely ignored in the series. The author should have been more thorough when it comes to historical facts.
