I had high hopes for this drama, but it seemed to me as if it was a sponsor deal for the Chinese solar panel industry: too much details about this subject, i found it kind of boring. The main lead was too perfect for me, also very boring. I find it hard to believe that you can blame someone for an accident that happens to you while you're driving toward that person, why?Was this review helpful to you?
Exciting right up to the end
The story can be a bit confusing at times, perhaps if you really immerse yourself in it and don’t rush through the series too quickly, you’ll find that some of the plotlines are actually easy to follow. It was a very exciting series—I was hooked right up until the very end.There is some romance in the story, but since they’re so busy trying to survive, they don’t take the time to engage in any elaborate romantic gestures.

Worthless
Maybe i am too old for this. After 3 episodes i couldn't handle it anymore. All the bullying, and and no adults: parents/teachers who stept in. Maybe if i took more time to watch more episodes i could see why the female lead made her choice. I watched this series in 2026 and that is maybe also why i found the actors not appealing due to the outdated hair and clothing style (it was very over the top). Also i have watched more newer kdramas that can also be the reason that my vieuw is spoiled with more better acting performances. But i am not sure if this was my first kdrama i should become involved in kdrama due to all the bullying; i should ask myself if is all this bullying is normal?But this is only my opinion.

Family bond
I could not stop watching after every episode.The performance by the actor playing He Zi Qiu was especially outstanding. His story brought tears to my eyes. The performance by the child actor playing his role was also very moving. I could really feel his pain and later on the struggle he had with his biological father.
Li Hai Chao’s story was so full of love for his children. I wish everyone had a father like that in all C and K dramas.
Why were all the mothers in this series so awful toward their children? Sometimes I wanted to scream and reach through the screen to give them a real good shake.
Every time i heard both songs at the beginning and ending of each episode i wanted to sob, they were so touching. I thing that whenever i hear these songs in the future I will get emotional.
