I read this before binging all released eps and was expecting one of the leads to be an ass and the other get hurt all the time, but was pleasantly surprised, I thought it was pretty lovey-dovey...
I really love this drama but a lot of credit goes to the main leads, their acting is fantastic, the second couple don't really do it for me, not because of the actors, rather the characters are just not that likeable (especially little brother). All in all 10/10, the mc and ml are both real, they are flawed humans which is pretty relatable... <-- Lu Feng gets a lot of hate, he does bad things and has issues, I get that what we find out about him at the end is supposed to make us see him in another light after everything he's done but it doesnt make him innocent. However i do think he paid for his actions and you can love a character that doesnt align with your morals, at the end of the day he's just a character created for our entertainment, and entertain he did

Also It wasnt that long ago i read the manwha but i also dont remember if he shows up again, so if he does, probably only briefly and the series might not include it with the limited screen time

I hate when the couple only gets together in the last episode, like whyyyy??? i really hope there is a special episode cuz i need them together more then 5 minutes, i already know that the last episode isnt going to be able to focus on them more then 5 min cuz the conflict has to be solved and all that shit and then there is the second couple that i dont like nor hate, but i hate that they will also take from the main cp's screentime, the ep is only 45 min with like 10 min intro and outro music so 35 for story, at least if its gonna be this slow burn there has to be more that 9 eeeeeppppppsssss
also i love the little smirks Zhang Zhun gives, I hope they lean into that and we get so see a more spicy side to him 😏
