FL’s cousin is cool and has a great chemistry with FL. But it will probably turn out that he lied to ML in the beginning and now FL is bearing the blame.

They haven’t explained it fully but it’s implied ML has some issue(s) that prevent from him a surgeon (they showed his hand shaking/trembling).
Early in Ep. 1 they showed ML agreeing to drive to meet FL — FL’s cousins claimed FL saw ML at an event and been asking about him. But most likely we will find out that FL’s cousin made up that story and FL didn’t ask about ML. But ML probably is unhappy that FL doesn’t recognize him now if she supposedly was into him before the accident.

I keep waiting for miHoYo to start using some of their billions to sponsor a drama where leads play Genshin Impact 🤣

Yes, it’d be cool if C-dramas got into a habit of having cameos from director’s/author’s prior works like so often happens with K-dramas :)

P.S. In my headcanon, The Immortal Ascension is a spinoff of You Are My Glory because of Yang Yang & Gina Jin 🤣😁

Watching this drama for a third time and I still can’t understand why Jiang Yang’s potential surgery would impact his ability to run the club day-to-day. It’s on his arm/shoulder so he’s perfectly fine to function as an administrator.

Does the novel offer a better explanation? 🤔

It’s funny in the drama but, let’s be be real, in a real world it’d be so much less conspicuous if they just sat at a desk and talked normally :)

It’d be very unexpected for 2FL to NOT end up with 2ML, but I would not be opposed to that. She’s a really great person :)

I really, really hope preview for Ep. 12 is misleading (like most previews tend to be). 2FL is such a nice, kind and warm person, we want all the best for her 🙏
