Let's see if I can help explain. They fought in the very beginning in a tournament organized by the Six Realms.…
Both of those items are shrouded in a bit of mystery (there’s no Wikipedia, lol), but it’s assumed that he would have needed to use GMD only once. But many things in this drama are secrets that you find out as you watch it :)
Haven't seen Wallace for too long after Love Me If You Dare.Question: Is Xiao Man the final couple pairing?
ML’s neighbor may or may not pair up with ML’s assistant. Although he actually has a girlfriend and they are pretty nice together, so maybe 2FL will meet someone else.
The “hook” of the drama is the based on FL faking a marriage & child to get employed. So this inevitably…
You are welcome. Another realistic drama is “Fake It Till You Make It”. It’s Chinese but has more of a Western feel (also quite short). It’s probably my favorite realistic adult romance drama. K-dramas usually have some sort of a twist (like here) or a bit unrealistic (like Queen of Tears).
Yes, excited for the premiere! Have you watched “Love Scout” (2025 K-drama)? It’s also a great example of…
First four episodes were pretty good. It seems this will be a cozy and wholesome drama without angst and tropes. Even the parents of the leads seem nice so far. I also like the fact that the leads are kind of rubbing off on each other. It’s not an instant love-at-first-sight young love, but more adult drama where people slowly get to like each other and change for the better.
how can the sister put the house as equity if she doesnt own it?
It’s possible she borrowed her mom’s stamp (used to stamp/sign official documents) or — like another person mentioned — she could’ve gotten her mom to sign the documents by claiming it was something else.
I have a feeling the angst is gonna be too much for my enjoyment, unfortunately. I hate lies, miscommunication…
You raise a great point and it’s something I also openly wondered about in the comments. I really, really hope the writers give us a plausible explanation for why she can’t just come out and tell him the truth. From the outside, he seems like a good guy and would keep her secret. So I think a lot hinges on upcoming episodes 3 & 4.
I'm so mad! It started off so good, why introduce the same old shitty tropes??? I wanted them to be different!…
The “hook” of the drama is the based on FL faking a marriage & child to get employed. So this inevitably lead to misunderstandings before our heroes are reunited & fight for the company against bad people. So the authors wanted to do an old-school romcom full of tropes & cliches (like just-completed Would You Marry Me).
Totally understand if that’s not your preference. If you want a more realistic & grounded romance, “Love Scout” is a great recent example. There’s also an ongoing C-drama that just started airing called “Why Is He Still Single?”. It looks to be less trope-y (and only 16 episodes which is rare for C-dramas).
try Would You Marry Me? It just ended on Saturday, and it's an easy watch, and you can use it to pass the time.
Yes, check out Would You Marry Me. it’s a similar old-school romcom filled with tropes. If you are in the U.S., Disney+/Hulu has that drama but episodes come out Wednesday, so last two episodes (11 & 12) aren’t there yet.
The leads only have eyes for each other. The two people who kind of like them probably won’t be too much of an issue because they are going to be the second couple.
OST song “Say You Love Me” by Wendy (from Red Velvet) is available. This is the official video with clips from the drama (mostly, ep. 1) and of Wendy singing — https://youtu.be/d7rdFgjsGvE
