If you don’t like it after 2-3 episodes, you can drop it because it doesn’t change much (for better or worse). I enjoyed the grittier, more realistic tone and the humor (anyone who’s had an office job would understand it even with a language barrier). It also had a narrator which is unusual.

It’s honestly hard to see a good ending for The Princess, especially since The Prince doesn’t care about her. If he were willing to do bad things to a person he loves, he will certainly not care about The Princess.

This is making me intrigued about YYY ☺️. I’ve actually watched two modern C-dramas about standup comedy (“Later, I Laughed” and “Smile Code”) and subtitles were okay, but I imagine it must’ve been 100 times funnier for native speakers. I liked “Later, I Laughed” so much, I watched Teresa Li’s earlier drama “Beyond” (2022) — it’s arguably the best skating C-drama (and maybe best sports drama period?) because it’s unusually realistic, has almost no romance whatsoever, and is unexpectedly honest for a drama clearly sponsored by the government (there’s an athelete with mental issues who turns to alcohol, doping use, etc.). It’s not a perfect 10/10 drama but so, so good.

Fortunately, she really hasn’t been on a screen all that much recently. But, if I could understand Chinese or Korean, my inbox would be a lot cleaner 🤣

Valid questions. We don’t know his age but he should be at least slightly older than FL. And it’s plausible he inherited the calls from his father or someone else (unless he’s a lot older).

Ah, got it. Seems there’s a lot of hype behind Love in the Clouds. Peachey Blossom’s recent poll about upcoming dramas shows 53% voted for LitC, 23% for FH, and only 10% for YYY (15% was undecided). I almost feel bad for YYY, lol. It has Wang Ying Lu from When Destiny Brings the Demon, so I’m rooting for her.

P.S. Wang Ying Lu must have an identical twin because it’s going to be her FIFTH drama released in 2025! 😧

OMG 😳 For real? She didn’t seem that bad here, but maybe I’m more forgiving because I have to focus on subtitles. I’ve noticed that I pick up more subtleties of acting/characters whenever I rewatch something (don’t have to pay attention to subtitles as much).

Do you mean writer of the source material? Because drama writers for Love in the Clouds and Yummy Yummy Yummy are the same (according to MDL).

I was sure they were setting up Doctor & Good Brother to be a couple (they had thrown typical drama hints). But I see your snuck into editing bay and convinced them to send the Good Brother far, far away, so we would have less screen time with the Doctor 🤣

Her memory returns gradually starting very early on. By episode 11 o 12, she remembers the most important thing to remember. After that amnesia isn’t really super important.

The Prince is a mega-evil person who has been doing horrible things (or planning to do them). The Princess is just a lovestruck naive girl who fell in love with a wrong person.

Hope so, but there’s no proof anymore so he could think FL is making it up. Thematically, it’d make more sense for 2ML to be killed by FL or ML.

The Princess is a lovestruck girl who, unfortunately, fell for a very, very wrong guy. Hard to see a good woman being for her. But, at least, this is very realistic because in real life people fall in love head over heels with bad people 😳

I actually like the Doctor lady and don’t understand why some people dislike her. 2ML is hated by design though.

Wow, the plot is moving along so quickly. We’ve already figured out the source of the poison AND the owner of death camps! 😲

Queen of Tears handled it okay (I love that show) but maybe it was due to the charm of the leads. But some other dramas aren’t as successful, especially C-dramas where episode counts are much larger and they like to really prolong the middle parts.

I’m current on Fated Hearts but so behind on Love’s Ambition (on Ep. 4 or 5) 😳. Too many good shows!
