Youku logic. (Step 1) Drop promo & build hype for a show. (Step 2) Postpone it. (Step 3) Release another drama…
It’s not known yet whether they will do an AI swap for “Love Has Fireworks”. Some people think they will, others are saying there’s not enough budget. I just want it to be released at all, so Chu Ran can claim to be the Queen of Fireworks-named dramas 🧨 😆

In the app YOUKU doesn’t even have a recently released section (or I can’t find it) so I can’t even figure out what they are releasing instead of this drama, lol. But some modern dramas deserve more highlights/attention than YOUKU gave them. For example, “Wanna Be” (aka “Hello, model!”) should have gotten pushed harder (it’s really nice modern drama that avoids most tired tropes). Intead YOUKU is heavily promoting “Eat Run Love” 🙄
Not sure but some other unreleased dramas are like that too for me. I don’t want to try to move HS to Plan to Watch manually because it helps me to keep up with the news everyone is posting here :)

Thank you! The creators needs to choose more auspicious names, lol. HS is “hidden” by YOUKU and the wait for TEF is “eternal”. Well, at least YOUKU lists these dramas s upcoming. Wang Chu Ran fans have been waiting for “Love Has Fireworks” for almost two years (thanks to a secondary actor who got himself in trouble).
Does anyone have a link to an article which talks about real-life relationship between the Go players in the movie? Or something that talks about differences between the movie and the real-life version of events? 🤔
Is that the scene which turned out to be ML’s imagination and not real? 🥺
That scene was very touching 🥰🥺😭 I really wanted to love this drama (and I like it still) but the last few episodes full of tropes made it more like an average drama 😔
Glad I’m not the only person who feels this way. Most of the drama is very good (except for some repetitive…
I love WIFTY because it’s such an easy, pleasant, stress-free, and heartwarming drama. It also doesn’t have any annoying tropes: no breakups, no misunderstandings, no evil parents, etc. FL actress of WIFTY plays 2FL TFF. TFF is a more serious drama that’s longer, more of a slow-burn, and has some traumatic elements. It becomes lighter in tone after first two episodes; the show does well mixing funny/romantic interactions with some more serious things. Without spoiling anything, you will definitely find out why FL & ML are the way they are and what happened. Finally, TFF’s last two episodes are amazing. All dramas should learn from TFF on how to properly end a drama.

Looking at your completed list, I didn’t find “When I Fly Towards You” and “You Are My Lover Friend”. Those are two great C-dramas which — to me — are gold standards for their sub-genres. WIFTY is short & super nice (very little stress or drama). YAMLF is so good, that even third couple gets their own song (the drama is also very funny; pretty light except for one minor storyline).

For real! Instead of copy-pasting worn-out tropes, writers should borrow from good dramas ;) Future drama writers, please copy last two episodes of The First Frost 🤓
Actually I am dissatisfied with the fantasy part. A fantasy genre could be logical too. I was waiting for Lun…
Writers actually managed to come up with a plausible explanation for how FL learned things during come (other people told her while they talked to her based on doctor’s advice). That didn’t explain everything but was plausible. The visions of the future were stranger and wish they didn’t do them. Overall, post-coma episodes were generally not as good as earlier ones.
