I agree with other things but Korean one had a sad ending atleast this one had a hopeful ending.
Well, if you see it that way.The modern guy always wanted to return to his original reality. I wouldn’t say he lost everything. The queen’s soul was also present in the same body the whole time and many people, like the younger maid, had lived with the queen their entire lives. She would obviously want the queen back rather than the guy from the future
But didn’t they have only three options to do the test? The first and third guys weren’t his father. When it was the second guy’s turn, they didn’t show the result. The ML just said he wasn’t his father
I'm not doubting anyone’s choice, just trying to figure out what they saw in it that I couldn’t. There wasn’t much comedy or romance, not even strong friendship or horror and those were supposed to be the main themes. I’d say it was a 7 to 8.5 at best
For what it's worth, they tried to wrap up the show well. 🤷🏻♀️ If anything, this show's finale makes…
I mean, obviously there was a reason why Lovely Runner got so popular, even when the lead actors didn’t have much pull back then. No matter how many people call it overrated now, the truth is the story delivered and pulled numbers without relying on star power
Some people are saying Rosa and Sanwol were gay? But then Rosa wouldn’t have married a man. They were more like orphans who had no one else but each other. They literally called themselves twin sisters.
I may not like their mom but blaming her because she was out there securing the bag and giving them a luxurious life is annoying. Yeah, she was an absent parent but luxury is a blessing, something both sons would’ve realized if they hadn’t had it. One simple meal suddenly fixing a distant family? That was such a cliché. Honestly, I’m so done with the character the FL played. Like, making kimchi in the final round or just carrot gimbap in a food contest? This whole “simplicity always wins” thing in the big year of 2025....
some of y'all are just here to hate and that's all...I know many people will disagree with me but its not bad…
You're talking about bad acting in high rated dramas but Go Minsi’s acting really fell flat in this one. She just rattles off her lines in a monotonous voice
I loved it a lot. I just deducted 1 point for a few reasons
1. First, Wei Shao being convinced to take a concubine and even asking the FL to arrange it.Call me childish, but I can never forget that
2. Manman was clearly distant when Qiao Fan didn’t want to send Bi Zhi to war. I understood both sides but after Qiao Fan died for her husband, I wanted some closure in Manman’s reaction since she said she’d die for her but wouldn’t let Bi Zhi risk his life.
3. Wei Xiao’s trauma was never properly addressed. He kept hating the Qiao clan till the end, like when he tried to kill the younger brother. They should’ve shown some healing, because after Wei Liang’s death, he’ll likely resent them even more.
4. Wei Liang’s death felt unfinished. After bringing him back, there should’ve been more closure.
