this show is so good who is making it a 7.9 instead of it being in the 8’s

oh yeah 100% the show and novel are literally completely different lol which makes this more fun bc now the audience will still question everything and try to make guesses even if u have read the novel

Oh my god I finished the novel. My second theory was right LOL omg Nadia crazy asf 😭😭 i honestly rlly hope they enact the last 120 pages cause I was genuinely imaging them in my head as they were happening. It reminds me of a western movie called The Roommate

omg i am almost done the novel im on page 620 and I just finished Nadia's POV and omg im shocked I was kinda right loll but i still have 200 more pages to go so we will see

Overall, I like the concept of this show. If you like Wattpad toxic couple, Boss/Employee, slave/ submissive vibes, unequal dynamics, rich/poor, this is the show for you lol

LenaMiu are doing an amazing job acting and bringing these characters to life. I read both novels, and honestly this is exactly how I pictured them. However, compared to the novels, they changed Peem to be more aggressive/abusive than in the novel. Peem never went out of her way to push Parn EVER in the novel. But they did change Parn's personality as well. In the novel, Parn was more dormant and did not talk back or engage in explaining herself to Pheem. She basically just let Peem keep insulting her and never said anything about it. However she does talk back to Pheem in the show (which I love because it adds more fire between them).

But there are a couple of things wrong with this show in terms of direction and pacing. I would say that this show is being incredibly rushed. Like, scenes are not coherent with each other, and it feels like we are jumping around from scene to scene with bad transitions. I feel like if you haven't read the novel, you would be confused as to what is going on and how the show is jumping around like that.

There are also missing scenes from the storyline. Ep2 showcased previous scenes that I assume were supposed to be in episode 1, and they were literally never there??? Ep2 did not continue off of that scene either, so it is just missing scenes between the characters.

I think this show could have been a 10/10,, but the pacing and missing scenes are rlly disrupting some of the show for me. Overall, still recommend the show tho. But there are multiple lines being crossed during it so it is 100% a morally gray show, dont watch if u can only like rom coms and butterflies in ur GLs lol.

Yeah that's what i am thinking too, the only reason I thought the first one could be true is because Nadear's parents believe that they have been together for 10 years during the dinner. But I mean ig Nadear could have just told them that and had them finally meet after year 9 lol??

Wait, so I also have another theory That I assumed could be true when I watched the trailer and now that I think about it since you said that it’s a lot more like twisted I feel like it could be right.

So I was also thinking that it’s possible that Chris and Nadear never even dated and that Nadear was like a stalker or a friend that was super in love with Chris. but then Chris got with Sun and that made Nadear super angry so then she hit Chris with her car by mistake and found out that Chris lost all her memories so then she used that To her advantage to pretend like they have been in a relationship for 10 years and that’s why Chris’ body rejects Nadear because they were never together from the start.

omg I didn’t even know there was a novel lol so far is the novel and show similar or is the show appearing fo be completely different?

also I feel like one of the mysteries is that we are seeing the story from Chris’s point of view and she’s an unreliable narrator, cause she can’t remember anything so it’s possible that everything that will unfold isn’t the truth

They never specified when Chris and Nadear broke up, they could have broken up after the accident due to Chris saying she needs space. This is why Nadear keeps saying she will wait for her until she can touch ppl again. I assumed this because while Chris was talking to her therapist and she was telling her how they didn’t break up due to physical touch but due to the fact that she thinks that they’re incompatible. so this is why I am pretty sure they broke up after the accident in Chris’ mind since she doesn’t remember anything else. I’m also assuming that if her and Sun were together all of her memories during that period were completely erased including the Nadear memories so the only memory she remembers is prior to her and Sun meeting again which would have likely been occupied by Nadear memories that were good.

This is my theory for how the show is gonna go and what the backstory is regarding Chris just things I picked up from the trailer and the first episode, I would love to know what others think!

Guys, I am theorizing that Sun and Chris knew each other since high school or college or something bc of the flashback/memory. I think they never got together until maybe years later, after Chris was with Nadear.

Chris and Sun met again in some way (maybe she was a patient since now we know Sun is a doctor). Chris and Sun's chemistry was through the roof, and then Chris was having an affair with Sun, and Nadear later found out about it and flipped out. OR Chris broke up with Nadear for Sun and she completely flips out.

I think Nadear may have accidentally hit Chris with her car out of rage, or not paying attention bc in the trailer it looks like it was night/raining. Chris wakes up and no longer has her memories, and Nadear uses this as a way to reset/restart everything, but Chris' body remembers what Nadear did, and that is why she can't handle her physical touch.

Nadear cares and tries to comfort Chris for the past year, staying by her side, trying to make up with Chris, acting like this was their normal, but Chris ends up hating her bc her body remembers, and she doesn't believe they are compatible. Also Nadear never told her parents that they ever broke up and no one found out it was Nadear that hit Chris with her car.

Nadear probably isolated Chris, so then Sun never found out about what happened to her or Sun found out and had no idea how to contact Chris. Chris lives life not knowing who Sun is. Sun finds out Chris' area/where she lives/something about her and that's how they cross paths again.

I think later Nadear will find out about Sun again and completely flips out because it has now happened twice where Chris chooses Sun over her. This leads to Nadear's jealousy, trying to take advantage of Chris, pushes Sun down the stairs etc. (all from the trailer)

AMAZING FIRST EPISODE OMG

Wait, this was such a solid beginning, and it's so cute omg. I rlly like the dynamics between the characters; Miwa is very reserved, and Saeko is the total opposite! They balance each other very well!!

wow wow wow this show is peak and actually has a good plot outside of the gl. We need more dark and supernatural gls this is such an interesting concept. Can't wait for next week's episode

No clue about weak class hero. Korea is still very conservative tho when it comes to GL and BL but it looks like they are becoming more open to dropping hints and previews of GL + BL in shows and movies especially through side characters identity, and indirectly showcasing BL + GL relationships.

This is debatable considering Lee Hye Ri is very well known and she starred in Friendly Rivarly where she shared a kiss with Chung Su Bin. The show is considered LGBT+ and a GL. And both of their careers are still thriving.

I think it is a majority of juvenile crime. For instance, if you ever watched the glory tv show, that was based on a real life occurrence where the girl was actually burned by her bullies with a hair iron, cause it life long scars. The bullies were not reprimanded and their faces are not leaked by the public due to South Korean law. Those people committed despicable acts and just because they were 16 rather than 19, they got off with no punishment.

This opens doors for minors in South Korea to do whatever they want with the expectation of it not ruining their futures. Now if someone did that in the U.S. they would have 100% been tried as an adult and received harsh punishments for committing assault and attempted murder even as a minor. This helps reprimand ppl from considering to inflict school violence on someone else. Obviously it isn't 100% a deterrent (bc there are still crazy ppl out there) but it likely is the reason why the statistics are not as high.
