First of all if you are thinking of watching it just watch it already!
The way the story is set up and the shots everything is so intentional and well aligned. I dont even know how to explain it. Every shot, every small movement feels so intentional. The story itself feels like it was actually written by a writer who loves this genre and actually enjoys writing a fantasy historical drama. Nothing is forced or dragged, the pacing is so well done. And the revenge actually feels earned it is not rushed or done in a way like on your face haha. Its more like both the leads have understood that they have planned and still there are things that are going wrong too but still they are gonna trust the process.
And man what a chemistry! I am not a huge fan of the Fl actress but her with the ML just butterflies in my stomach everytime they were on screen. You will instantly root for them cause they both feel like such real people. And the characters are so well written both of them are smart. Not in a forced yeah main character energy kind of way but like genuine real people type of way.
There are so many scenes from this drama that will always stay with me. I didnt understand much about female gaze in a show till i watched this drama it is actually such a femal gaze thing now i get it.
