Slice of Life 👏 Youth 👏👏 slow burn 👏👏👏 Romance was never meant to be only physical!!! The romance is there! It was beautiful and pure! Its about the process not the result if you want an adult romance you can check other dramas not tagged youth. This is a masterpiece of a drama and I really appreciate it! I know it wont be everyone's cup of tea but at least let others see and judge for themselves putting comments here saying you dropped it can dissuade others from checking it out so refrain from doing this to a good drama worth watching. You are free to express your opinions but you don't need to bring negative feedback like this. Drop the drama and let it go in peace if its not your thing.

This is a youth drama with slice of life tag right there. The slow burn is worth it but if you want adult romance then well go for another drama. This one is about the process of growth and their love making them better versions of themselves.

I expected a simple summer romance, but this drama gave me so much more. The slice of life moments and the chemistry between the leads truly stood out and made everything feel warm and real. I laughed, I cried, and I found myself deeply attached to every character. What stayed with me most was Li Yunrui’s performance as Xing Wu his acting was incredibly moving and full of depth. Beautifully acted and beautifully written, this is a story that will stay with me for a long time. 🥺✨ A drama that is worthy of time and has a high rewatch value because it's that beautiful.

They both had each other contact still 😂 the ep where she got drunk with her friend and she called him she said she had her pride because she couldn't break the promise and the challenge she herself made and he didn't because he respected her choice and wanted to catch up to her properly to stand by her side as an equal. Both of them may have not contacted each other directly but I'm sure they did check if they were both safe and okay they just didn't go for the details as you can see qingye kept in contact with the others and often checks on their moments in hope to get a glimpse of him as for Xing wu if you remember the ep she left and he had her hair tie he checked on his phone and saw she posted the moon from a commob friend or smthg so yes its about a choice and trust

People face setbacks frequently in real life too on the daily some have it tougher than the others some easier, ML is underprivileged but his resilience, his strength and kindness is shaped by those very struggles. Everything that happened to him had a certain purpose. People in real life face even harder challenges and don't get to come out of it. The drama reminds us that there are people with much more struggles out there and it shows that one can still fight back its filled with hope so its comforting in a way~ also as the saying "When bitterness ends, sweetness arrives" I am sure their lives as adults will be much more smoother after all of this

Ppl thinking there are a lot of things happening at once to the ml but it's not really like that the drama is adapted from a novel so they have to make it concise while keeping major events that shaped the characters in it and if you pay attention to the seasons changing you'd realize that each episode has certain time from the other so accidents happening isnt really consecutive and while it feels unfair to the watcher it is also rather realistic this is a result of carelessness or a consequence of past and conflict. The drama is a slice of life so it will have up and downs it's not just purely focused on romance

The drama is 30 ep long~ even tho it is a youth drama the leads are mostly not at school it tackles their lives outside more so even if you think you're past the age of watching highschool drama you wont notice it. The characters' dialogues and conversations are deep and beautiful you'd want to keep a notepad to write those metaphors down~ it's also very pretty aesthetically and the plot is very well written I hope you enjoy~
