I don't feel sorry for the 5th prince either but all the scheming things he did are pretty classic prince behavior. It's also understandable that he only went to the sister (which was only 3 times in 3 years) when he had smth to ask her about his late wife like why else would he need to meet her? And as far as obsessive behavior goes, any other prince including the ml is hardly any better than him. Every prince seems to be competing for the position of the most obsessive lover lol.
