Hmmm
The Summer of You... hmmm. I have mixed emotions about this one. As I usually say, maybe it’s just not my cup of tea, or maybe I’m simply not the target audience. But I don’t hate it either.
One thing I really liked about this JBL is that we get the confession very early in the story. At least they didn’t drag it all the way to the ending just for them to finally confess. 😂 The conflict between the couple is also very valid, especially for people who have personally experienced it, like leaving without even saying goodbye. That part really made sense to me.
But other than that, it was mostly just... hmmm, okay. 😅 There were scenes I enjoyed, but nothing really stood out to me that much.
One thing I have to give them, though, is the scenery. Thank you for all those beautiful shots because they were honestly so refreshing to look at. 🥹
And the kiss... LOL. At this point, it’s becoming a JBL stereotype that some actors just don’t know how to kiss on screen. 😭😂
