Colorblind

“You’re a red flag, but I’m colorblind!!” Who doesn’t sing this loudly every time this series plays it? This might be the anthem of all BL fans right now. 😂

This was something that just popped up on my feed, so I decided to watch it. The actors have good visuals, and they have good chemistry too. Acting-wise, they did well.

The storyline is very interesting, especially at the start. It had such a strong introduction that it made me go, “OK!! So here’s the red flag one.” Big Jane entered with such a suspicious vibe, but again, I’m colorblind. 😂

These favors are very interesting too. Like, how powerful is Big Jane? And you should know the difference between doing someone a favor and simply giving help, which Little Jane mostly doesn’t know. 🥹 I kind of understand Little Jane, though. Big Jane is very suspicious, plus all the rumors going around about him, so who wouldn’t have doubts? But honestly, all he had to do was ask the right questions. Little Jane is just so easy to persuade.

When they separated for years and the iconic reunion happened, that might be one of the scenes where I actually clapped. The slow-mo effect, with the Colorblind background song while Big Jane was walking, is something I will definitely rewatch. 😂

But honestly, after that... the series kind of lost its touch for me. Maybe except for the parts where I wanted to choke P’Dan. 😭 I don’t know, is it just me? It started to feel repetitive, and I kind of got used to all their excuses already. I’m not sure if this is how it goes in the original novel as well. Remind me that I have to read it. LOL.

See, I don’t have much to say anymore about the later episodes. It is what it is. I just wished I could’ve seen more chaotic favors because I really liked that premise.

And that statue is very creepy and weird. LOL.

Also, there are parts where the NC scenes feel kind of forceful. So if you’re not comfortable with that kind of content, you might want to pass on this one. I don’t support that behavior, but I understand that it’s part of the story and is used to build Big Jane’s character and the dynamics between them.

My last take: Both of them are colorblind. Fight me. LOL.
