Love both the mainleads' acting, but this drama is some parts boring and kinda all over the place.I feel like…
Yep. Han Ming Xi, for example. All he did was following Ye Li and added no crucial plot in the story. Don't let me start about Ye Ying. She had no character development.
I wrote my opinion about the FL's character in my notes after completing the drama, and we share the same view…
Friend, you comment in the wrong page. Not everyone watches that drama. Besides, try to stick to the topic in the conversation and avoid bring another thing unrelated to it.
Ep. 39-40: This was such a bad drama. ML entered the city without imperial decree risking a death sentence - this…
I wrote my opinion about the FL's character in my notes after completing the drama, and we share the same view about her. It baffles me that the writers make her know-it-all and be-it-all. She can cook, sewing, cure, heal, paint, draw, read astrology, martial arts, accounting, playing music instrument, you name it. How can someone so young can do it all?
ughhh im so sad ive been waiting for this drama for forever and im up to ep 9 and so bored. i want to like this…
Do you binge-watch the drama? It's too heavy to watch some episodes in one go. Try watch 2 or 3 episodes, take a break, and watch another episode might help.
It was a plot hole, just like Ye Li hid the edict under the seat cushion in the crime scene after Princess of…
The building was sealed off for investigation. There was no way they didn't check Ye Li's and Ling Yun's seats in that crime scene. Moreover, the cushion seat might be fall off when they carry Ye Li to the prison.
A Princess' murder was a capital offense. They should have searched the crime scene carefully and thoroughly because they needed it to explain the progress of the investigation to Cang Bei's envoy.
It was hard to believe no one saw or found the edict in the crime scene, let alone it safely returned to Ye Li.
Yep, those were assumptions. The drama should answer it for us.

If it was only internal politic scheme, I'd accept that excuses. However, that murder involved two realms' peace treaty. The judicial officers couldn't and shouldn't have been careless in the investigation. π§
The writers put so many things in the drama. They should have prepared the proper explanations to satisfy viewers' curiosities and questions.
I still to the present episode can't figure out why ML's brother decided to stash the edict instead of showing…
It was a plot hole, just like Ye Li hid the edict under the seat cushion in the crime scene after Princess of Can Bei's murder, but the edict was miraculously return to her.
Does this drama get interesting at some point? I'm at Episode 4 and it's just a damn slog fest. So boring nothing…
Honestly, I feel the same for the first episodes. So, I can relate. What encouragement me to keep watching is I want to know what happen with Li Shan Academy. However, they take a long way to get there. When I'm almost there, the preview disappoints me (I rarely peek at the previews, but I can't take it anymore). I want to give this drama the last chance because I know preview is always misleading.
If you have a reason to watch the dramaβBai Lu is a good reason because her character gets all the plot armor, keep going. If you don't, it's better to find another drama that entertain you. You can always pick this drama when you're in the mood for this kind of pace.
Fan Hui: Here a new mask for you. It suits you very well. ππ Jiang Shu: *checking the gift* It's so ugly. I won't wear it! π€π
Then, he proudly wears it the next morning while having a briefing with Qi Zheng. π€£π€£π€£ He was right. The mask was ugly, but he looked so funny.
He was calm (after days of reflecting), trying to listen to her, but Ye Li made an unforgivable mistake in her…
Ye Li is smart. We all agree with that.
She found a way (unfortunately, an extreme way) to persuade Mo Xiu Yao to let her heal his legs. With that in mind, she could have found a way or create a perfect situation to talk about her revenge plan and the edict with Mo Xiu Yao.
The writers can do better to take our leads to finally get into the mountain to investigate what happen with the scholars in Li Shan Academy, not like this.
Hidden indeed.
