Most of you said Nam Gil and Bo Gum are brothers in this movie but no! They're uncle and nephew.

Despite Vengo being one of my favorites, I actually prefer the donghua more.

The time travel idea was interesting, but I personally would have preferred immortal BiZhi
Those stories from his past - especially his connection with the prince (BeiLu's ancestor) - felt much deeper and more beautiful to me which make him this protecting BiZhi.

I really hope there's a Season 2...

Oh, I didn't read the novel. I just watched the donghua which is available on YouTube. But yes, I feel the same about their relationship - exactly like "The Untamed" not as obvious as "Heaven's Official Blessing".

About your second question (whether BeiLu remembers BiZhi): I have to say the donghua is very different from the drama. No one forgot anyone in the first place. But you're right about the drama - BiZhi remembers BeiLu.

Probably not. Most Chinese dramas don’t get a second season, and since the novel has no sequel, the drama can’t continue. Besides, "The Company" was almost canceled due to some issues and only aired after 2 years.
Still, as a fan of donghua, series, and Vengo, I hope for season 2.

I have to admit I didn’t really enjoy the first episodes since I kept comparing it to the donghua. But it got much more exciting after the “chess game” episode.
Episode 25 is my favorite by far — sweet, soft, and heartwarming.
Looking forward to Season 2!

I though they might reveal "A Ning"'s story but they jumped to a new one

I just finished E20 and feel the same *scream*

sometimes some changes are appropriate and can make the show great in it's own way. for example "Maleficent 2014" was different from it's original Disney animation but it was really good in its own way.
but some unnecessary changes not only doesn't make the show better but also worsen it and its potentials(both story and actors/actress talents)

I know and that could be the reason that we had to wait for 2 years.
what I meant to say was that I like the donghua story better(everything about curses, red dragon suit, longevity pendent, and etc)

although I like the time travel idea but I also prefer the original story from donghua. for example immortal BiZhi is much better than the one from future.(you know other difference in all characters' stories)
