I have watched the drama so far on IQIYI and Netflix (I’ve rewatched episodes on the other platform to compare). Yah the subtitles on Netflix suck compared to IQIYI. I have heard that others prefer WeTV over the others, but I haven’t watched it on that one to compare.

I think it’s all of the above. Technically he married under a false name, so the marriage is void. I think he also wants to be with her without the false identity / false pretenses. Plus, they also never consummated their marriage so that may also be a factor.

You have a ways to go. Supposedly they aren’t reuniting until 24 💀 They separate in the beginning of 17, though. So you’ll be good watching through 16.

Yeah and I LOVE this drama so much that I actually want to know what’s going on outside of the romance. I’m catching some, but most of it is so so confusing

Question to the novel readers - I haven’t gotten to ep. 17 yet fyi. But do we know why XZ never shared his identity with Changyu up until this point? My brain can come up with some reasons why he wouldn’t, such as her knowing who he is could put her in danger, etc. but is there another reason? Just curious.
