On ep 9, did he really try to justify cheating of that woman?? so he'll be okay when his wife cheated on with someone else when he was in prison for 10 yrs 🙄 he was already getting on my nerves with how he treats ml and now this.... have to drop it here
it was meh for me.... they didn't even tackle their past problems. in starting fl was for revenge and getting back but suddenly she lost her plot lol they spent more time showing fl with 2nd ml and their buildup( at one point, it was looking like they will be the end game lol) than showing ml and fl facing problems and bonding..... writer or director whoever thought about changing plot, idk what even we can say to you but you destroyed a story which started pretty good but because of your selfish motive on increasing rating or viewership, you destroyed the plot 2nd ML and 2nd FL both were more selfish and frustrating to watch ... no wonder they are siblings for me the rating should be more lower than 7.8
If anyone is wondering how it's connected to the "Hidden Love" world , remember the young boy who used to court Sang Zhi in the middle school and got rejected on his birthday - that boy is Fu Zheng Chu. He's ML's ( Fu Shi Ze) nephew here.
seriously only 8.0 for this drama.... it should be above 8.5. story is engaging and pacing is better.More importantly the pacing is so good that you will not be bored... also loved the Lin family, their parent's bonding is so good.. they understand each other, care for each other and fully devoted to themselves. Casting of young Lin Dong Zhe couldn't be more better... everyone nailed it with their innoncence and mischievous performance. Also the entry of Guan Xiao Tong and Wang An Yu makes it more interesting.... sad i wanted to see more moments of them... if they are making s2 plz plz plz give them more screen time(ofc cast shouldn't be changed)... they have chemistry even though there is no single kissing scenes between them, still they nailed it My rating for this drama will be 9.5 (0.5 deducted for no good subtitles)
i think the slow burn was really nice! the subtle glipses of eachother and long stares and silent care for eachother…
idk i read novel maybe that's why i am expecting too much here... even they came into relationship there, they continuosly bicker with each other that's what they should've done here too.... but here it was nothing after XW got to know about his feelings
I read novel to see if it's like that there too but nah they were more intimate and had more chemistry than here(which director ruined it for me)....there fl reminded me of novel version of "Be passionately in love"... wondered how they will be if they meet each other, probably sarcastic war will happen for sure
idk but it started well off but lost its rhythm .... i thought i will complete it but it was really disaster. I was literally forcing myself to watch it still can't.. if we leave romace(which is literally nothing here), she also has no self esteem... they always insult her and her family and still they go back to main family and take their insult as it is their rights... too much humiliation only character i liked here was FL's mom... she's strong, righteous and caring... Maybe YZ drama isn't for me
