I’ve seen him in 3 different dramas( Depth of Field, Sunspot, Akasaka) and he looked so different in all of them!
his roles in Sunspot and Akasaka were kinda similar, but he looked like an entirely different person in Depth of Field. it’s like he becomes a new person with each hairstyle, both visually and acting wise😂
I had it on my watchlist, mainly coz of Jinyoung. I decided to not watch it weekly and wait until it stops airing, because of how disappointed I’ve been in most kdramas lately.
So glad that I waited😭 Looking at the comment section, looks like I’ve saved myself from wasting 10 hours of my life lol. Deleting it from the watchlist! 💀

trailer looks funny and pretty interesting! very confused about the romance though. is it only gonna be fictional romance among the male teacher characters in her BL? I don’t see a teacher-student relationship tag, so i really hope that we’re not gonna have romance between the high schooler and her teacher(s) 🥲

I was skeptical about watching this drama, given that the comments and reviews aren’t the best (and the poster looks a bit tacky lol), but i decided to give it a shot. I went in with very low expectations, and ended up liking it more than I expected!
I loved the premise of the drama - two men working in the cosmetic industry. it felt quite refreshing . the thing i liked the most was that they started dating quite early in the season, instead of the typical “starting a relationship a fee minutes before the season ends”. we got to see them in their dating era, being fluffy, having fights and conflicts as a couple, etc. a lot of their conflicts were kinda stupid, but it was nice to see them resolve them quickly enough instead of letting them drag on. also loved how there were quite a few supportive characters.
the acting was pretty good. I think the main leads had great chemistry. they had some good kissing scenes too, instead of dead fish kisses🤣
the non con touching towards the beginning was pretty off putting. one of the supporting characters was pretty annoying . Natsume’s constant self doubt and inferiority complex, and his “oh I miss my bf so much, but i don’t wanna bother him” was getting on my nerves. but i think he had a pretty good character development and got better at communicating later on.
to sum it up, it had its ups and downs, but overall it was a good watch.
Natsume not wanting to “let Toma go back to modeling” and the sales competition at the last episode made zero sense to me. as a person who has always supported Toma, him suddenly wanting to “tie him down” felt so odd. and his reasoning being “Toma just got promoted to Makeup Artist” made no sense.
if he wants to go back to modeling, why do you wanna stop him from doing so? he’s an adult who is fully capable of making his own decisions. if he goes back to modeling and doesn’t enjoy it anymore, he can just come back to being a makeup artist. why would you force him into staying at his current job?!
