Very good acting, and cinematography

the acting was sooooo good I'm obsessed, and the cinematography is one of the most beautiful and important thing that I look for lots of dramas. and I found exactly my dream cinematography in this one. fan Xiao was kind of disgustingly manipulative and deceiving but in a beautiful way, and I love how the bot wasn't pathetic or feminine, it's giving alphaxalpha and I'm obsessed. their chemistry was also so good as of they're made for this roles. also behind the scenes shows how after each manipulative and crying scene they start to giggle and laugh together and it's so intoxicating

sorry not sorry I absolutely hated every single thing about this drama, I hated every single character, every forced drama, every "stereotypically" Chinese personality, overreacting, and literally fights for no reason at all, and those disgusting "friends" who are always in Chinese dramas that poke their noses in everything but their own business, and the sister who thinks she's the leader of the world, and the mc who can't make a single right decision, and it was too long for such a little plot and storyline which made it hella boring I was skipping using that line which tells you how much u watched of the episode instead of skipping with 5 and 10 seconds. the last two episodes were so useless that I literally used that line 4 times in it and each time was a quarter then I went to the next ep and did the same to finish quickly. worst drama ever

Honestly I had no problem with it at the beginning but then I was like "why are people so hung up on sex?"
Also I got spoiled of the ending and I was like "poor kazuaki" cuz wdym your best friend which you really find precious and cherish him just doesn't see you as just a friend. I mean it's okay that he doesn't see kazuaki as just a friend but even after kazuaki pushed him away gently and saying indirectly that he's basically asexual and just doesn't see him more than best friends he still pushed boundaries and just thought about himself. Now kazuaki is left all alone just because he's only asexual and no one understands him, that sad fact about kazuaki is just blurred and hidden by the "happiness" the watchers gets because the main characters get together at the end of the drama so it's a happy ending. but it became a really sad story for kazuaki and I don't think that his best friend is really a good person either. he just finds mc "loveable" and likes him because he allows him to have sex together. I don't really think it's love between them but just desire for sex and also like relief and happiness that they're allowed to do it with each other but barely any real romance other than physical attraction and similarity in their struggle with sex.

What I liked:
1. Cinematography
2. Acting
3. Both of the mains learning dances from each other
4. The dance together at the ending was just peak
5. The difference between the two mains' vibes and dancing that confirms the phrase "opposites attract" perfect without being too much

What I didn't like:
1. I think there's some unasnwered questions between the mains
2. ML looks kinda creepy like Jigsaw
3. Didn't quite understand ML's past and why is he like that currently
4. The sudden invitation to dance in front of everyone at the ending without even having a proper talk about what they are and the fact that they haven't spoke for a while, all that and still smiling in the dance like nothing happened
5. That obsessive girl who originally dances with ML, something about her obsess just doesn't click for me

very heartwarming and relaxing bl

tbh I think not much people would like this cuz the Japanese culture in dramas and all is usually slow, calming, and yk that sleepy dreamy cozy vibes, also they're so popular with that typa beach

I liked the story cuz like hayakawa is like too innocent (apart from sex heh) like he felt guilty because of someone misunderstanding his motive that's yamashita thinking hayakawa was pitying him and then hayakawa decided to not play music or get related to it just to feel what Yama had always felt, I found that like a little sad but yk hayakawa looked so adorable like a sad heart patootie I wanted to hug him so bad but konno already did that for me heh, also I know the ending was a bit rushed but I still liked it, also the little details when konno wipes hayakawa's tears was so cuteeee, then the cuddling scene after they did ehm ehm hit the spot, I have a soft spot for cuddling and haya looked so cute and smol in konno's arms I LOVED THAT SCENE PLEASE MAKE MORE BLS WITH SOFT CUDDLING

acting was really good, haya totally ate that crying scene, it literally remind me of 'cries cutely' IT WAS LITERALLY THE DEFINITION OF THAT

why did this have the smallest number? cuz most bls nowadays would be like so chaotic and all so this would've been forgotten, but after all that chaos, and you need a calming watch, this and sugar dog hit the spot

What I liked:
1. Amazing acting and resemblance of bipolar disorder and PTSD
2. The realistic time span
3. Character development and an actual difference between the mains' personalities from past to now
4. ML finally getting a psychiatrist was the perfect ending plus the mother dying is like a weight dropping from the shoulder
5. Actual realistic regret that the watcher can *feel* from ML plus the director not adding SPECIFIC scenes from the novel to the drama (iykyk)


What I didn't like:
1. MC not getting a psychiatrist as well even thought it was too obvious that he has PTSD even without it being mentioned
2. The homophobic mother (not related to story), cause personally I hate all homophobic parents who make their children reach peak mental illness because of their homophobia, but without the mother (in the story here), the story wouldn't have even developed
3. Another personal hatred not related to the story: ML thinking since his father died and him being a lil sad bout it but not for long until he prioritizes MC means that MC "must" do the same and prioritize him over his parents. ML already had a bad relationship with his parents meanwhile MC had a normal, cozy, loving family. He can't just hate his family and let go of them in a second.
4. Would've liked just a little more screen time for the second couple
5. The brother trying to bring MC back to being "normal" and then a little after he gets a boyfriend

ts a whole another bl love story itself

it's like a parallel universe of chengwei but in this universe their love is forbidden (tbh in the drama itself I didn't notice anything saying that love in china is still forbidden and they continued to love normally which isn't IRL) so they can't be together
dude I feel like I cried in this BTS more than the actual drama ts is so good it shows how their relationship develop by acting together and they warmed up to each other pretty quickly, also on the BTS idk of what ep but it's more than 20 they just kept cuddling out of script, like Tian was laying down on the bed and ziyu in his arms snuggling up his side while both reading the script. and this little kiss on the hair tat Tian gave to ziyu OH MY GAWD
then the playful bickering as if they don't have a 5 year age gap they're just so silly
also why rewatch value so low? cuz I'm sure 100% I'm crying if I rewatched it or the drama so I'm done with one time watch...
