I love this FL! I don't care that she's cold and ruthless; I admire her. I love that she's not all about love and care when she meets her man. I love her demeanor, her calm and rational mind, her schemes, and her pride. I waited so long to watch an FL like this in Chinese dramas. The one who focuses on her principles, goals, and sets her own game in "career" and relationships. I love that she's the main focus of the story; she knows what she wants and gets it.
I have an impression that their grandmother has a partial psychic disorder. Not even emperors are as prideful and vicious as she. They are a noble family, yes, still, not like they're ruling an empire or something. I suspect all her children who are alive just ran away from her.
Her father is a jerk—nothing else to say. And she ended up falling in love for the first time with a similar jerk. Thankfully, she chose her man wisely later. I hope the same will happen to her mom.
A good drama, light and pretty. Perfect to spend a winter evening with, obviously from the setting. Overly sweet, though, in my opinion. I'm talking about interaction between main couple, not ML past.
Waah, cannot wait to watch it. I liked this novel even more than "Speed and Love" novel. The FL here is something😀 Though, I think they will cut most "interesting scenes", hahahaha Waiting patiently
I cannot agree and say that FL is hypocritical, and uses LJL. Firstly, she cannot say much about his identity because she never knew him personally. And what she investigated was just some info from second hands, and she usually doubts everything that comes from someone else. Secondly, she never asked ML to put his life on line, just to look out for her helpless cousin. Yes, it was implied to demonstrate his usefulness, but he also used this chance to improve his living conditions. Lastly, she doubted his presence in the mansion because nobody was sure if he lost his memory or just pretended. Head injuries are tricky in this way, unless you look right into the head, nothing is certain. He indeed has ulterior motives towards Rong family, so...
Politics works this way, I think. No good or bad, just grey 🩶
I'm not getting the last trailer... So, RSB decides to choose LJL and give him that jade token. Then, that Yang Din Chen (the always aggressive one) intercepts and shows the bracelet belonging to FL's little sister. And... so what, is this some kind of a threat? What can he do in FL's domain and household?
Maybe I watch too many detective stories... 1) I kinda have a feeling that the blind sister isn't blind... Though if she's really not, she plays well. 2) The cousin sticking to RSB is too 'friendly and supportive' to be true. 3) Also, in my opinion, the youngest one pretends to be autistic.
The easiest to deal with are those two sisters who plot against FL from the very beginning, I think...:) What do you think:)
