Every minute of this episode is comical, entertaining, and full of twists and turns. Bonus is the extra sweetness for the fake husband wife and son. Honestly the romcom tropes in this episode is just fun. Every viewer has different tastes in dramas, so there is never universal opinions on a drama.
Every viewer has different tastes, no question. To me this is another excellent episode, full of twists and turns, and perfect pacing, never dragged on.
Episode 7 seems to:1. reveal a deeper conspiracy within the hospital that will likely unfold in later episodes;2.…
Very much agreed with you. Just remember this drama is titled in KoreaThe Completion of Marriage, so hopefully it meant happy ending for the couple. This episode already provided hint the real problem behind the marriage, which is nothing to do with the 2 themselves personally.
With 5 days of waiting each week I am trying to watch this slowly, and together with the equally excellent The Apartment Job, both with my favourite forever young actors. Even though they are totally different dramas, one super intense with no moment of relax, and the other every minute is comedy. But both are mixed genres drama with slight romance in the background which is my preference. And today's episodes both provided me with moments of sweetness, one from a near divorced couple, the other from a faked couple! What a treat!
the directors and writers lowkey be running out of ideas. ðŸ˜
The real story behind the kidnapping (and the marriage problem) is actually starting from 2nd half. Many scenes in first half are to provide hints on the story to come. This is not your normal every day drama. To understand every scene one have to watch carefully and guess, like a Hitchcock movie. Nothing in this drama happened by accident as one professional online review said.
Half way through this drama it is now safe to say this is a unique drama which required very sharp eyes, very careful watching, meaning liking the drama a lots, to be able to understand what's underneath every scene, conversation, behaviour of the characters, and to be able to guess the actual storylines of the drama. This actually beyond the average viewers, and I am one of them (I rely on reading reviews by others). So hold tight and keep watching. Make too early judgement likely you will be surprised.
Read the link below on analysis/prediction based on 1st 4 episodes. You will see how great is this drama. This is also the way to watch this drama, every scene meant something and every character designed to fit the plot (not designed for you to like them). A Hitchcock style drama/thriller. Episode 7 preview more or less confirmed the predictions Remember the very 1st scene of the drama on the mountain climbing, with the fl the stronger climber? A good example of nothing happened by accident.
I must be missing some emotions because I STILL CANNOT SYMPATHIZE with the wife! and i am hoping they still divorce.
This drama repeatedly shown viewers the 2 leads fell in love without extended datings, and jumped into marriage without building up fundamental understandings, basically love at first sights. So up to you to guess what's happening next.
Watching 2 outstanding, entertaining, but totally different dramas, released on the same dates together, is such a blessing. Both The Husband and The Apartment Job have veteran, forever young, top male leads leading younger, less well known actresses and both working exceptionally well together. My brain just full of these 2 dramas now so need a small break in between weekends.
Those asking this can be pro or anti romance and the answer varies accordingly. But anyone who watched the 4 episodes so far can tell you the leads are fake husband and wife, and their interactions played a keep role in each episode and their relationship is a 'positive' one. Only the ending will tell. If it ends like Ji Sung's last drama The Judge Returns, a cold, almost like stranger ending between him and his wife of previous life, that's better to have no romance at all.
I was wise not to watch this episode before sleep, way too intensive to have a proper sleep otherwise. It is now highly likely the title 'Completion of Marriage' is a positive one and the romance plot possibly will be reviewed more with the leads united and fight together in the remaining episodes. At least this is my wish and I enjoyed the leads' dynamic so far. By the way Ep 7 preview did show a new phase of the drama
If you were a genius surgeon, you could have plenty of friends and allies within the police force, among detectives,…
Fully agreed. Just watch Hospital Playlist with all those Professor doctors, other than the one with a rich family all the rest are just high middle income persons living in typical apartments and working day and night, all they have is a respectful job. And all the cars in kdramas are product placements for advertising, anyone should know.
Ep 5 continued to be highly intensive, exciting, and full of twists and turns. Breathless watching it honestly (that's why taking a mid week break is better than binge watching for this thriller). Namk Min really brought this drama to a different level. Both leads now hero and heroine level.
I'm surprised more MDL viewers aren't commenting on this drama. 95% is fun and light-hearted (and I FF thru scenes…
You are right on point! It is a comedy with hearts. There are no real romance in Ji Sung's recent dramas hence if a little bit of it comes, fine. If no, just as fine.
Many already asked the same question. And many replied as below. But best to watch it yourself as it is way too early to make prediction. It is too fun a show to miss.
Wait, I just realized there’s no Romance tag. All the fake-family dramas revolve around romance, so I wonder…
If you have watched the highly entertaining revenge thriller The Escape of the Seven Resurration (the 2nd season of the series) a fake marriage also setup right at the beginning. Anything can happen with fake marriage, romance tag or not. My favourite Hospital Playlist season 1 had no romance tag when relased as it is a slice of life, friendship, medical drama. But all the 5 main characters in the drama have a developing love story and there is even a love triangle for the 2 main leads! (Not that if I am predicting any romance or not in this drama).
why do I feel like they're both going to end up loving each other and sliding into each other lives somehow ðŸ˜
The fake groom told the fake bride in episode 1 he paid her 2 million won for a kiss which he didnt get (or didn't take). Will he get the money worth at the end?
