Another very enjoyable episode. Every word every scene is emotional. Very surprised Nara keeping the secret for Junichi so her main focus is the current murder. I have a different take on Makiko (probably from my male's perspective hopefully not offending the rest here). In this episode Nara likely has setup a trap telling Makiko that Junichi might not be the killer 23 years ago but need the gun to prove it (no idea if a lie or truth). Hearing Junichi so painful, still suffering from his guilt, likely Makiko has retrieved the gun and will confess next episode with the gun, and hoping to prove Junichi is not the killer 23 years ago. She is prepared to go to prison and would still lie if her son actually the killer as no way she would allow her son from harm/hurting. Visiting Keisuke was to ask him to look after their son in future. Purely my speculation. Ok Soap Central on ep 7 recap has similar take on Nara tempting Makiko to bring her the gun
According to Soap Central the Japanese broadcaster TV Asahi would only release ep 8 on March 10th but Netflix will release ep 8 on March 4th (Australia)
MDL only lists official genres and only 4… the main 4. If you put romance as a main genre here, that will mislead…
Exactly. With only 5 episodes to go this is the key of the whole drama. If TJ is not Yeon Woo Jin I would think he is certainly villains. But is it too much for Sin Jae, the heroine of the drama, already surrounded by bad characters, to fall for another bad guy?

You are correct if the number of minutes is used. But looking at the genres list including law I was expecting it is a drama like Pro Bono, The Judge Returns but so far can't recall any law actually applied here even with the 3 fl lawyers. It is certainly a crime drama, but I also didn't expect so much sexual reference here. And I was only expecting it would be a business deal with TJ with no romance genre and not expecting they are talking about marriage here. I was more looking at what the storylines about. Let's enjoy the developments of the drama whatever what genres it is.
The drama genres very much questionable nowadays. So now relationship growth in the drama with ultimate skinship involvining the main lead is not even counted as romance in the genre? Of course ending of the relationship could be happy or sad or the otherside could be good or bad character, any difference? Is it because of so many anti romance fans in forums so better to be misleading?
I really hope the CEO TJ is not the head of them, he is giving low key feeling of last piece of villain that was…
My main interest in this drama now is whether CEO TJ/Prime the hero or the villains. It is interesting given his screen time is so limited and he is on screen always with Yun Chai. Very hard to judge. If TJ a good guy it will give a normal couple in this drama. With the always hero drama record of Yeon Woo Jin hard to see him suddenly turns villains. With only 12 episodes this drama looks like won't suffer the typical long dramas with boring middle episodes.
That talk about OS, the way he looks at Shin-Jae, his smugness, I don’t like it one bit
That guy, if you meant Tae Ju, is played by a very popular actor who's past work always a good character and usually ended up with the female lead. And the list of female leads included some big names. He works included Thirty Nine again with 3 fls. So questionable if suddenly he would play a villain?
Purely speculation. There is a chance that Keisuki did bring the gun to Makiko's home, and her son took it and killed the shop owner. Then all 3 are lying protecting her son. It also resulted in a parallel of what happened 23 years ago. Both underaged for criminal responsibility but have work and school consequences. The 2nd time Makiko and Keisuki met at the night of killing was to dispose the gun.
Just checked the minimum age with criminal responsibility is 14 years old in Japan. At 6th grade will only be 11 to 12 typical or max 13 years old. And the son of Makiko is way below that whatever he has done.
That few seconds is hot. Seems building up the tension of eventually it happens, if all obstacles are cleared
Watched ep 6 again still no clue who is the present time killer. None of the other 3 friends of Junichi shown any emotion like Junichi after killing someone. So if the drama is consistent, seems none of the 4 killed the shop owner. And disposed of the gun is an important part. Makiko doesn't have a car.
The killing of Hideyuki remains to be a big mystery, as confusing as ever after 6 episodes. Just like who took the gun, no hint. Thinking a bit more on the confession of Junichi. Besides clearing up the reason he left Makiko 23 years ago, it should also rebuild the friendship among the 4 friends. Now Keisuki realised Junichi actually avenged for this father, and Naoto no longer needed to protect Junichi. So understandings are seems restored. Might be there is only police internal disciplinary hearing on Junichi with the crime happened 23 years ago. But he has not been honest so result can be anything from suspended from duty (might not be allowed to contact all suspects in the meantime), to sacking.
