I don't like the fact that they made the ML invisible in the last 3 episodes. ML had a minimal to none presence…
the whole three episode of not him is that to show how he did prepare everything to her

Title Blossoms of Power Spoiler
I would have preferred he stayed dead
Some people just can't accept that he died, so leaving the ending open is simply a way to satisfy different viewers. Many dramas have done the same thing—they leave the ending open to the audience's imagination rather than giving a completely definitive conclusion.

But her popularity is not like other actresses to get veiwes and her drama only jmdh is s+ other dramas are not…
I think there's been a misunderstanding. I never said that *Blossom of Power* succeeded because of Meng Ziyi alone. My point is that the drama attracted the general public, not just existing fans.

You mentioned that He Yu has his own fandom, so that's why the drama worked. But realistically, He Yu's fandom isn't that large. If simply having a popular male lead or fandom was enough to guarantee success, then *Princess Gambit* should have performed similarly. However, after the first few episodes, the viewership dropped even though its male lead is more well-known than He Yu. That shows that a drama's success depends on many factors, not just the popularity of one actor.

Regarding the "red lips" criticism, I honestly don't know much about it because, from what I watched, she wasn't wearing bright red lipstick throughout the drama. Her lips naturally have a different shape, which may have made them stand out. In any case, she recently mentioned in interviews that now she has more choices, she wants to experiment and change certain things in the future.

You also said her agency is strong and has always given her good resources. If that's true, then where were those resources between 2020 and 2023?

After *The Untamed* backlash, did her agency immediately secure her female lead roles? No, they didn't. Instead, she gradually rebuilt her image through variety shows like *Wonderland*. Those shows allowed people to see her real personality and helped many viewers let go of the controversy. She stayed away from television during the peak of the backlash and only started appearing again around 2021.

As for *Royal Rumours*, it wasn't a high-budget production. It was a B-level budget drama, yet it still attracted viewers and performed reasonably well.

Then in 2023, she faced another wave of negative rumors involving a male member of *Hello Saturday (Hi6)*. Did her agency step forward to defend her? No. She had to clarify the rumors herself, publicly stating that she wasn't dating. She even addressed it again on *Wonderland*. Her agency remained silent.

To me, it wasn't until *Blossom* became a hit that her agency truly started supporting her.

After *Blossom*, people often say she immediately received great resources. But if we look at the timeline, the only period drama she had lined up was *Princess Gambit*. Most of her new offers came after the success of *Blossom* in 2025–2026.

Compare that to her co-star Li Yunrui. Even before *Blossom*, he already had opportunities, and after *Blossom* he continued receiving projects like *Open Journal*, *Yummy*, *Rebirth*, *Dazzling*, and *Tiger Sniffs the Rose*. Meng Ziyi, on the other hand, only had *Princess Gambit* immediately after *Blossom*. The bigger wave of offers came later.

I've followed her career for years, so I personally feel her agency only became more proactive after *Blossom*. She also had two dramas that were shelved since 2020, so it's unfair to count those as evidence that she was receiving strong resources.

As for *Blossom of Power*, it was produced by the same producer behind *Blossom*. Meng Ziyi herself recommended He Yu, Jeremy, and Lei Weiming, and together with the producer they decided to reunite much of the cast. The producer is a woman, by the way.

At the end of the day, every actor and actress will have dramas that perform well and others that don't. That's completely normal.

What I've been saying from the beginning is not that *Blossom of Power* succeeded because of Meng Ziyi alone. My point is that it also attracted general audiences. Whether viewers came for the CP, for Jeremy, for Meng Ziyi, or simply because they found the story interesting, they still chose to watch the drama.

And if a drama isn't good, people naturally stop watching. We've seen that happen many times with other dramas.

Finally, your opinion is just one opinion. It doesn't represent the views of millions of viewers. Everyone has their own perspective, and that's perfectly fine.

If you think she never wants to show herself without makeup, then I'm sorry, but that's simply not true. She's appeared with minimal or no makeup many times on *Wonderland* and other variety shows.

If you think she's only focused on looking pretty, I don't agree with that either. Variety shows like *Wonderland* have shown a much more natural side of her.

Also, she's naturally very fair-skinned. Some people assume she's wearing heavy foundation, but if you've seen her in real life or in unedited photos and videos, you'd probably be surprised by how fair her complexion actually is. It's not just the result of makeup.

Just asking due to curiosity. Do you know when he will become traffic actor as he had his breakthrough and now…
To be fair, *Speed and Love* wasn't really a breakthrough in China, although it performed very well internationally and gained a strong overseas audience.

I think *Blossom of Power* is the drama that truly helped him gain recognition in China. It'll be interesting to see if he attends the Tencent Video All Star Awards, and possibly the iQIYI awards as well.

That said, I think he still needs more successful projects before he can be considered a traffic actor. He's only just getting started, and building that level of popularity takes time. Becoming a traffic actor isn't easy—you usually need multiple hit dramas, especially a first-billed leading role with outstanding viewership and strong commercial value. That's typically how actors are recognized as traffic stars.

This was an amazing drama and you know it's amazing when you feel that emptiness in ur heart once it finishes…
The Crown Prince wasn't looking for revenge or an argument. He just wanted to know the truth from his father—whether the Emperor had done it or not. Once the Emperor said he hadn't, that was all he needed to hear, so he decided to let it go.
