She’s a normal person, just like us. People’s faces naturally change as they age, and factors like weight changes, makeup, styling, lighting, and simply growing older can make someone look quite different. If people literally looked exactly the same throughout the years despite aging, then I’d understand why people might question whether they had cosmetic surgery.

So, did I read a different novel then? 😭 Because in the novel I read, it was clearly described that she doesn’t show much emotion. Even when her family members die, she doesn’t shed tears or show much of a reaction. In the novel, the Crown Prince even has to do different things just to bring out some emotion from her.

Even her supporting roles in The Legend of the Condor Heroes, Love in Pavilion, and The Untamed looked very different from Royal Rumours to me.
So honestly, I think it just comes down to how differently we perceive her acting and the character.
