This actually made the story feel much more balanced to me.

Many people criticized Shen Xihe, saying she was too arrogant, didn't openly express her feelings, or didn't love him enough. But during that period, she believed her husband was dead. She was pregnant, endured everything on her own, became Empress Dowager to protect her son and shoulder the burden of the country, and lived in loneliness for nearly five years. It made a balanced to me

Person Meng Zi Yi
Sorry to disappoint you, but *Blossom of Power* was originally offered to her by the producer of *Blossom*. She…
Your point is valid, but here's how I see it. After *The Untamed*, she faced a lot of backlash, and many people in the industry weren't willing to give her opportunities. At that stage, every supporting role she got was important for rebuilding her career.

After *Blossom*, the only period drama she had lined up was *Princess Gambit*. It wasn't until the success of *Blossom* in 2025 that she started receiving more offers. Realistically, an actor can only choose from the scripts they're offered, not from roles that don't come their way.

To be fair, Meng Ziyi hasn't even had that many leading roles—you can count them on your fingers, especially compared to most actresses from the post-95 generation. She's already 30, so it's understandable that she's taking the opportunities that come her way rather than waiting indefinitely for the "perfect" role.

Now that her recent dramas have been successful, she'll likely have many more options and the chance to explore different genres. In fact, her next project is a modern thriller/suspense drama, followed by *Tiger Sniffs the Rose*, where she'll play a tragic princess. Hopefully, before *JMDH* airs, we'll get to watch the modern drama first.

Sorry to disappoint you, but *Blossom of Power* was originally offered to her by the producer of *Blossom*. She was also the one who personally asked Heyu, Jeremy, and Lei Weiming.

Anyway, whether you think she's typecast or not is entirely your opinion. But if she were truly typecast in a way that audiences disliked, people simply wouldn't watch the drama. Instead, *Blossom of Power* performed very well. It wasn't a flop, and its viewership wasn't driven by fan power alone. It attracted a general audience and consistently maintained around **25–30 million views per episode**.

On top of that, it became **Tencent's third most-watched drama**, and it may even move up to second place soon. If your opinion were shared by the majority, millions of viewers wouldn't have enjoyed the drama the way they did.

What's even more impressive is that *Blossom of Power* achieved these results without the kind of massive budget that productions like *Generation to Generation*, *Rebirth*, lbtg, and many other big-budget dramas had. That makes its performance even more noteworthy.

And most important actors of this drama got praised and recognised by the public

it doesnot matter weather it worked in international or not cause for any actors there own industry should be recognised and that happened and i wont care about you international people opinion

Person He Yu
His role in *Blossom of Power* reached a character popularity score of over 100 million despite him having a relatively smaller fanbase. That really shows the general audience connected with his performance. This drama wasn't driven by fan support alone—it genuinely attracted public attention, and He Yu gained a lot of recognition from casual viewers.

I really hope this opens the door to even better roles for him. I also think he may have been hesitant about taking on leading roles in costume dramas before, but after the success of *Blossom of Power*, I'm sure he's gained much more confidence in this genre.

So-called parting by death—
No matter how much one prepares their heart,
When that moment truly arrives,
It seems one can only be filled with regret and lingering attachment.

The biggest knot in my heart from this lifetime has already been untied.
What is true and what is false,
At this moment, Xiaohuang can no longer distinguish,
Nor does he wish to doubt any longer.

The love given by Father Emperor was genuine.
If only Father Emperor would say it is not so,
He would believe without a shred of doubt.

But the happiness of this life—he had only just begun to savor it.
He had finally confirmed each other's feelings with the one he loved,
And he was about to become a father.

He devoted the last year of his life entirely to preparing for the future,
Even sacrificing his final breath to ensure his wife and child would be under Father Emperor's care.
He had already completed all preparations for the moment of departure,
So why can he still not let go?

The most joyful yet most heartrending moment.
The moment Xiaohuang was closest to death,
And at the same time, when his will to live burned most fiercely.

All emotions
Like snowflakes drifting down from the sky
Relentlessly surging toward his final moment,
Transforming into intense regret
And an unfillable emptiness in his heart
That holds him back,
Making him struggle to return once more
To this human world he clings to with such attachment.

Wonderful news. I think there's a special bond between Meng Ziyi and Hi6. It's like a home to her whenever she…
Yeah, Hi6 really treats Meng Ziyi so well. When the rumors about her scenes being cutline in kr started circulating, Hi6 immediately posted, *"Princess, you're always welcome to come home."* I honestly thought that was such a sweet and reassuring gesture. It showed that they were standing by her and made me feel really touched.
