You are right,but unfortunately, Its been like this since idol dramas came into existence in China,This also applies to movies but its not that much there cause the majority are veterans. But then neither China or Film productions are against this behavior, Reason?? Because they need the traffic and toxicity to sell their dramas,and Male actors tend to have more traffic compared to their female counterparts and they generally earn more than the women,hence their fans are more difficult to control,But this doesn't really apply to Grounded senior actresses who have spent years in the industry as much anyway.
