Nice historical drama
Personally, this was the first show I watched that incorporated historical motifs, and even though I didn't think I would connect with the genre, it completely surprised me in a good way.As someone who watched Lee Min-ho's early roles as a young actor years ago, it was entertaining and fascinating to see him in a more mature drama and to witness his growth as an actor over the years.
He brings immense presence and charisma to his role as the King.
And Woo Do-hwan, who plays the King's personal bodyguard.... His performance completely steals my sight from lee min ho! Because the show deals with parallel universes, he plays a dual role: one as the serious, tough, and fiercely loyal captain of the guard, and the other as a lighthearted, comedic character in the alternate world. His transitions between the two personalities and his close bond with the King were a absolute joy to watch.
The series explores a fascinating parallel-universe concept, creating an unpredictable storyline filled with action, suspense, and deeply emotional, even sad moments.
The cinematic visual quality and production value are top-tier.
As for the ending—it is certainly interesting and complex, though personally, I found it a bit frustrating and annoying due to how the timelines resolved.
It is a very enjoyable, thrilling, and imaginative drama. Highly recommended for fans of fantasy, action, and anyone who loves Lee Min-ho

Truly powerful and intense experience
in my opinion, it is an outstanding show, but it comes with a strong content warning: it features severe abuse scenes that are very difficult to watch.Learning that parts of the bullying are based on a real-life incident makes the viewing experience even more harrowing.
At the same time, the series reflects trauma and violence in a raw, realistic, and unfiltered way—a refreshing and important departure from typical K-dramas.
Because the core subject touches upon real-world issues, it is very easy to empathize with the female lead, feel her pain, and support her meticulous, years-long revenge strategy.
Song Hye-kyo delivers a phenomenal performance—cold and calculated, yet deeply layered with emotion.
Beyond the personal revenge plot, the series raises profound questions about human nature, class privilege, and the way institutional systems often fail victims of severe violence.
It is a brilliant, gripping, and masterfully crafted drama, but it is definitely not recommended for viewers who are sensitive to heavy depictions of abuse

Sweet and unique
What makes this series so refreshing and different is its distinct format: it is shot mockumentary-style with characters interviewing directly to the camera, alongside shorter 30-minute episodes, which is perfect for my opinion.It really breaks the usual mold compared to traditional K-dramas. At first, the pacing can be a bit confusing because it jumps between different timelines and perspectives, but as you keep watching, everything begins to connect and the concept becomes fascinating. This structure might not appeal to every viewer, but I personally loved it.
Ji Chang-wook delivers an incredible performance as always, and the story explores the diverse experiences of several couples. The best part of the show is that it feels much less conservative and far more realistic and mature than usual, making it very easy to relate to the characters and the complexities of modern dating.
If there was one drawback for me, it was the prolonged plotline where Yoon-oh hides her true identity from Jae-won, which felt somewhat frustrating over time. Nevertheless, the way all the individual storylines ultimately weave together into one cohesive picture is clever and satisfying.
It is a lighthearted, modern, and highly recommended drama for anyone looking for something a bit different but still interesting and romantic

Drama that came with high expectations, but ultimately felt quite generic and cringe
Even if we set aside the elements of super strength—since it is a fantasy show after all—the plot simply moves at an unreasonably rushed pace.It starts in Mongolia, and almost instantly, the main character arrives in South Korea, finds her mother almost immediately, and is suddenly fighting criminals alongside the police while developing a romance with a detective. Everything happens far too quickly without building any real depth.
Beyond the rushed pacing, the show is full of frustrating plot holes. Take the main villain, for instance: throughout the entire show, it's hard not to wonder how such a powerful and wealthy man remains so oblivious to who she really is, especially when she makes no effort to hide her identity or her superpowers from anyone.
Furthermore, the series is overloaded with unnecessary subplots and an unbalanced mix of genres—shifting abruptly from a dark crime drama about illegal substances to over-the-top comedy. It has too many episodes, and it feels like it tries to do way too much at once instead of focusing on the core story.
it is a decent show only if you're looking for something light to pass the time without thinking too much, but it definitely doesn't live up to the expectations

Loved it
It is an entertaining, and thrilling drama that beautifully blends several different genres: fantasy, mystery, drama, and romance. This combination creates a fast-paced and seamless viewing experience that constantly leaves you wanting to jump right into the next episode.One of the absolute highlights of the series is the lead cast (Park Bo-young and Ahn Hyo-seop). Both are exceptionally talented and well-regarded actors, so from the very beginning, there was no doubt the result would be fantastic. Their acting is outstanding, and their onscreen chemistry feels completely natural and delightful. Another major thing i loved is the ending: the storyline receives a complete, satisfying closure with no open ends, which is always a huge plus in this type of drama.
it is a very engaging, and enjoyable show, and I found myself finishing it in a very short time. Highly recommended!

nice and nothing more
I watched it a whole ago and to be honest I don't really remember what happened, I just remember it was pretty boring.It offers a nice mix of a more mature romance alongside a look into South Korea's intensely competitive academic world. As the plot progresses, it tries to blend too many genres—like a mystery thriller subplot that doesn't quite fit the light romantic tone, which slightly disrupts the story's flow.
it is a pleasant drama with some sweet moments, but it doesn't leave a lasting impression and tends to fade from memory pretty quickly. I would mainly recommend watching it if you've already cleared your primary watchlist and are simply looking for a light show to pass the time.

watched it only to see Song Kang on my screen :)
The plot of this drama was kinda realistic, and even a bit sad at times. As a viewer, I found myself feeling empathy for Na-Bi, completely understanding and relating to the process of her falling in love.In that sense, the show felt exceptionally realistic rather than depicting an impossible fairytale. Entering an informal relationship and unexpectedly developing deep feelings is something that happens to a lot of people in real life.
If there is a core lesson this show teaches, it is the fundamental need for honesty. It was clear from the beginning that both leads were drawn to each other, but all that was missing was simply being honest with one another about what they truly wanted. Regarding the ending—I would have loved to see a more detailed epilogue showing where they are a few years down the line and whether the relationship actually lasted. At the same time, perhaps leaving it open was for the best, as perfectly neat endings usually only happen in fairytales.
With that being said, i felt like this is not the greatest drama i've watched, I really don't like han so-hee's acting, she's giving me a Bella Swan vibes and i just can't stand it, I definitely watched it mainly thanks to Song Kang —but it wouldn't sit at the very top of my absolute must-watch list

I just couldn't connect with it
I know this show has a lot of positive reviews and many people really loved it, so maybe I missed something, but my personal experience was completely different.I found the series quite boring, and I didn't feel like there was an interesting storyline worth getting invested in.
In my opinion, it felt pretty superficial and not very memorable. It's hard for me to even judge the actors' performances—neither good nor bad—simply because the story didn't give them much to work with. It just didn't hold my interest, and I personally wouldn't recommend it

Wow, I loved this drama so much! This is such a cute and charming show, filled with the best kind of romantic and cheesy moments.I personally LOVE this genre. It has that classic, nostalgic K-drama feel, but with a modern, funny, and lighthearted touch that makes it so enjoyable to watch. One of the best parts of the show is the incredible chemistry between the lead actors—it was so natural and captivating.
I binge-watched the entire series in such a short time because I just couldn't stop watching! Highly recommended for anyone who loves romance (especially work romance), comedy, and a good feel-good story.

cute and nothing more
This is a cute series, really.It starts off really cool with the documentary part where they are filmed again after years, but... how to say it? It drags a bit for no good reason.
If you're looking for a drama with crazy twists, secrets that are revealed, or crazy dramas – this isn't the show for you...
There's no plot twist. From the first moment, and despite all the 'hatred' between them about their breakup, it was completely clear to me how it was going to end and that they would get back together.
It ended exactly as I expected, without any surprises.
The cast was okay
Bottom line? A nice experience, a fun way to pass the time, romantic, but it wasn't very special and it's not a series that will stay with me later. Nice and nothing more.

Exhausting and unnecessary
This drama started out as a sweet, cute, and light romantic drama, but as the episodes progressed, it became exhausting, predictable, and personally, I just lost patience with it.The whole series itself didn't make much sense, but I didn't give it too much attention. What was strangest was the ending. The twist where the hero 'dies' from an illness, everyone mourns him, and suddenly years later he just resurfaces healthy and unharmed without any reasonable explanation – just doesn't make sense
It didn't serve the plot, didn't contribute to the characters, and mostly felt like a forced and infuriating attempt to produce a cheap drama at the last minute, just to slap a 'happy ending' on it.
This drama has its cute moments at the beginning, but the bottom line is that it's just exhausting and unrewarding. I wish I could recommend it, but I think it's completely passable.

I really enjoyed this drama
I really liked this drama, I saw it somewhere at the end of 2024 and I still remember it fondly. A very moving drama, I couldn't stop watching it. The end of the drama remained open and implied and I didn’t really liked it, but there is no logical way to end the series with a happy ending for everyone. Bottom line, the actors were great, the plot is romantic and interesting, it's easy to connect with the characters and it will be very suitable for those who like time travel.Was this review helpful to you?

Starts great but slowly get boring
The first few episodes were great and I really enjoyed them. I got curious about the ending (because I couldn't wait 8 more episodes, lol), but what I read was not what I expected at all.While I didn't expect a fairytale ending, I certainly wasn't expecting both of them to die—especially for nothing. I won't be watching the rest of the drama; after reading more reviews, I realized it's just not worth my time.

Such a beautiful drama
It is simply a stunning show and truly one of the best series ever aired.I returned to watching K-dramas after a break of several years following a strong recommendation from my mother, who told me this was the first show I had to watch to dive back into the genre—and she was absolutely right. It is an addictive, captivating, and deeply emotional series.
One of the most fascinating aspects of the show is the rare glimpse it provides into daily life in North Korea compared to the South, portraying the stark contrasts and human connections between people from both sides of the border.
Beyond the central romance, the supporting characters add so much warmth, humor, and genuine friendship as they help Se-ri navigate the impossible reality she finds herself in. It is also beautiful to trace the subtle twists of fate and see how the leads' paths crossed long before the main incident.
The onscreen chemistry between the two leads is extraordinary and practically glows through the screen—it's no coincidence they fell in love and got married in real life!
As for the ending, it is somewhat bittersweet and melancholic. While they do stay together, having to maintain a long-distance relationship and only meet for brief moments abroad is painful, but given the political circumstances, it is far better than being apart forever.
It is a absolute must-watch for anyone who loves deep romance, love against all odds, and a deeply moving human story

Enjoyable romantic comedy
This show is incredibly sweet, hilarious, and lighthearted. If you love the 'office romance' trope, this drama absolutely delivers on every expectation.It takes all the classic K-drama clichés and executes them in such a clever and fun way that it is simply a joy to watch. One of the funniest parts of the series is watching Ha-ri try her absolute best to scare off Tae-moo during their forced blind date, along with all the chaotic double-identity situations that follow at their workplace.
The cast is phenomenal, and the chemistry between the lead couple is amazingly natural. Beyond the main leads, the second lead couple also brings so much charm, humor, and fantastic romantic moments to the table.
Don't expect a complex plot or deep storyline—the premise is quite simple and predictable. However, the show's true strength lies in its great physical comedy, fast pacing, and overall fun, uplifting vibe. It is the perfect series to relax, laugh, and pass the time with a big smile. Highly recommended!
