Oh man that sucks. Don’t know where I get this boundless supply of optimism that allows me to think the next episode will be better every week.
I saw on x that the run time was about an hour, hope we got some actual direction on overall arch of the story, since this is the penultimate episode? I’ll probably watch it on Friday and wash it down with DBTE
lol personally, I think not every story/show needs an NC scene. I’ll leave it at that. This story started off so well, like I thoroughly enjoyed the first few episodes and they served as a perfect palate cleanser after knot… but now I’m just like adrift. Guess I’ll just enjoy the romance, cringeworthy as it might sometimes get hehe
I should probably stop watching and save myself the headache but this really is basically a train wreck you can’t look away from. At this point blatant proof of AI in the script is the only thing that will stop me from watching until the end.
I won’t say much expect nothing really happened. I barely watched the nc scene if at all cos I can’t stand intimacy that doesn’t feel earned, if that makes sense.
Funny thing I noticed though is how there were only three things happening or maybe I missed something in all the skipping forward. But we were in the car talking (for about twenty minutes btw, like who thought that was good idea? Jfc. At least oats face is kinda pleasant to look at) then in the coffee shop (more robotic stiff talking, I need to slap some energy into ongsa, like damn boy you have zero stamina?)
Then back to the car again? All scenes were too damn long and barely did anything to progress the story, they really could’ve been cut shot and we could’ve seen more of their world. I’d really like to see what this world looks like. Like outside of the standard alpha beta omega dynamics, i would have really liked more info on the world itself, on what business the alpha family actually does. More family dynamics? The first two boys’ mom and naphit mom drama?
Not to be a hater or anything and there really was a time I was very much into boatoat, but somethings changed or is lacking. I don’t enjoy them as much as I did in my stubborn. It could be that the first animalistic nonsense really marred my image of them and I can’t see past that. But the actors are all right, could benefit from acting classes but overall no complaints

I still think the pursuit doesn’t need to be difficult. I’m not disputing the necessity of the pursuing arc, but there’s a rinse and repeat to it if there’s always an external pull of doubt. BJ can and should reassure LJ without there being a Dan or Put or LJs own self sabotage proclivities whispering in his ear. There doesn’t need to be a struggle for BJ to prove to LJ that he is worthy of his love, it just makes it feel repetitive and sort of unsatisfactory because well, we’ve seen it before. If this was the first time there was a wedge between them, it’d be another thing entirely

oh damn so all this is now quite literally uncharted waters and a guessing game now? Though I suppose there could be some retconning of the remaining novel plot points. It will be interesting (maybe also frustrating) to see what they did with it
