Can you imagine the dad actually became overbearing and restrictive while raising Phatsa as an alpha. Drilling into his head all those ‘good qualities’ only for things to fall apart when they find out he’s an omega? And it would never be that obvious since their lore is that a pure omega is closer to an alpha in strength or sumn.

It’d be pretty interesting to see someone who grew up thinking he’s an apex predator, top of the food chain, finally realize he’s but prey.

Imagine if Phatsa’s father knew he was a Super Omega all along, but kept him sheltered for his own protection. Daddy tells him he’s just a standard, fragile Omega (so he can have a dramatic unleashing later) feeds him a warning about his mother’s tragic fate to justify his actions, and keeps him locked away from the world. Sure, cliche, but it would have instantly justified his total lack of real world awareness AND given Daddy’s dramatic "But my Princess!" routine now, some weight

I see a lot of comments saying this show started off strong, but honestly that wasn’t my experience. I found the first episode quite empty narratively and did a poor job of world building, as a first episode should. Then everything after that was just as poorly written, but I guess the novelty of omegaverse was blinding?

Do I think they bit off more than they could chew? Yes. Is having one person be the scriptwriter, director, and producer nonsensical? Normally, I’d say no, but considering said person can hardly be considered a writer since she lacks the creativity to give life to scenes and has to delegate to AI? I’d say it’s nonsensical.

This would’ve been so good for MFlow if they’d invested both time and talent into this project. The period of time between the pilot, the actual series filming, and post production was alarmingly short, which I guess when you have a bot spitting out scripts for you, it makes sense. (Allegedly) I wish they really took time with this, they didn’t need to rush to get it oit

I hope they consider a second season, I hope they get actual writers and a decent director/producer.

Episode 8 was a bit of a hard watch. Max is definitely the MVP, his delivery is so good that the cringe is actually pretty entertaining

Now love Nat down but either the delivery or the directing isn’t hitting the right spot. I got taken out of a lot of scenes because of that. I need this show to be good because I really want them to win and get out of the dmd basement, I just wish they’d also be directed by the likes of Kru Den and Kla in the future. Maybe a good director and story is the missing link.

Overall, the episode was mostly funny on some parts and like I said the acting in certain parts especially around the ‘climax’ took me out of the scene.

Absolutely no hate to James, of course. It’s just a pet peeve of mine when they chose to show something and it’s fake when they had the option to not show it at all.

Yes that’s the one. And it wasn’t even necessary for the scene, they could’ve just not shown it. But alas, it didn’t take anything away from the episode, just inauthenticity is a pet peeve of mine.

I enjoyed it the episode , it was really good. Though, one thing bothered me and it’s a general thing not specific to just mr fanboy.

But I think we’ve evolved past the stage of angle kisses. I say this not because I want to see kisses but I never understand the logic behind casting people who won’t be comfortable kissing their co-star when the script calls for it. Most productions write them off if the actors aren’t comfortable with it, so maybe they could look into that.

Other than that, amazing episode! nine, when I catch you!!!

Hm, it could be that. Though honestly, I think it was heavily direction influenced. ‘Cause aloof and generally emotionless characters tend to have an endearing edge and Nakhun is sort of missing that. The only example I can think of now is Levi (AOT).

Oh did they announce a new show in 2027 or is this optimism?

It makes me wonder though, since mflow is a relatively small company and Thai shows usually depend on sponsorships… how will Knot’s writing/execution quality impact their image when it comes to sponsor perception?

At the risk of sounding controversial and a little hater adjacent, I’d like to break my silence on something.

I thoroughly enjoyed My Stubborn for the chaotic mess it was, and while I’m not a hardcore fan, I enjoyed boatoat and thought they had fantastic chemistry.

I expected that same display of chemistry coming into knot, maybe a little more since it was their second show together.

But something about Knot snuffed that buzz out completely. For the most part it seems like they’re being forced, I don’t know if this makes sense but to me it seems like they are actively acting— which I guess is crazy cos well… that’s their job. But good acting and good directing is supposed to make you think otherwise.

I do feel like at some point during filming they went ‘wtf are we doing?’ and it shows in the work unfortunately.
Anyway, I hope they get their spark back, Knot is so poorly written and executed that I suppose this was par for the course.

Holding off on watching episode 11 until either Friday and next Tuesday because the comments are not at all encouraging and I don’t have the capacity to watch a mess rn
