I genuinely don't understand why this bl is being called a masterpiece😭, I'm not trying to shit on it for no reason. I think it's a very good series, the acting is a ten👌and the concept of the series is unique and interesting but the plot was just not it. Episode 1 to 3 were good but the last three was just repetitive and boring😩, I expected more drama and tension because as someone who grew up in a Catholic home, there's no way their happy ending could have come that easy. The priest and everybody was also way too chill about everything that I was constantly reminded that I was watching a drama. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they shouldn't have had a happy ending, I'm also not saying everyone should have been angry at them, I'm just saying that everything went way too smoothly, I was expecting more than just running away and living happily ever after, it would have made their victory sweeter but this is just my opinion.🤌

Wasted potential 😩 This series had a lot of potential, strong cast and unique premise but instead of developing the interesting plotlines, they spent 70% of the show impeaching meng ting hui😭😭 The girl could just be breathing oxygen and someone would find a reason to impeach her, it got annoying after the first few times. Then the part of the show I was actually looking forward to which is when she joins her people got cramed into 2 episodes 😪 which Left the ending feeling rushed and severely underwhelming.
It wasn't a bad series, I actually rated it an eight, but I honestly thought I would be giving it a ten after watching the first few episodes, I was disappointed 😪

I really like the fact that Tae ha didn't find out that Sang gil was his biological father. It was a very realistic outcome

90% of it is either shot in the house or at the restaurant, it's like they don't go anywhere except the empty ass restaurant and the big ass house 😭😭
The conversation scenes at the restaurant look so fake, it's like watching a live drama on stage.
The father's character is so flat and tasteless, I can't even take his scenes seriously because he acts like a cartoon villain 😩😩

The fl was definitely not indifferent in the beginning, she obviously liked him but he did something that hurt her and she became kinda cold to him but she's warming up to him again.... slowly
The romance is not really obvious, if you are someone who values romance plots above other subplots then you probably won't like it. The romance is subtle and slowburn
