Wasted potential 😩 This series had a lot of potential, strong cast and unique premise but instead of developing the interesting plotlines, they spent 70% of the show impeaching meng ting hui😭😭 The girl could just be breathing oxygen and someone would find a reason to impeach her, it got annoying after the first few times. Then the part of the show I was actually looking forward to which is when she joins her people got cramed into 2 episodes 😪 which Left the ending feeling rushed and severely underwhelming.
It wasn't a bad series, I actually rated it an eight, but I honestly thought I would be giving it a ten after watching the first few episodes, I was disappointed 😪

I really like the fact that Tae ha didn't find out that Sang gil was his biological father. It was a very realistic outcome

There are a lot of things wrong with this series
90% of it is either shot in the house or at the restaurant, it's like they don't go anywhere except the empty ass restaurant and the big ass house 😭😭
The conversation scenes at the restaurant look so fake, it's like watching a live drama on stage.
The father's character is so flat and tasteless, I can't even take his scenes seriously because he acts like a cartoon villain 😩😩
After all the hype and anticipation😖

The fl was definitely not indifferent in the beginning, she obviously liked him but he did something that hurt her and she became kinda cold to him but she's warming up to him again.... slowly
The romance is not really obvious, if you are someone who values romance plots above other subplots then you probably won't like it. The romance is subtle and slowburn

No, she does respect him but she's not afraid to tell him what she really thinks probably because she knew him for a while before she realized he was the emperor yes the fl has the typical save the world hero complex No, the male lead is ABSOLUTELY not a simp😂😂Hope this helps

The male lead is not in love with hye ran, he's just obsessed with the idea of her loving him. Hye ran is not a good person like most main characters but you can't also say she's a bad person. You either love her or hate her, there's no in-between 😂
That old detective needs to retire and go home because he was very biased when solving the case.

Everybody in the series just keeps making unnecessary stupid decisions especially sun not warning sky or even letting him know what was happening, that was the most stupid decision he made.Sun wants revenge and is the main character but without Jay he would probably be long dead and forgotten. He hasn't done anything to get revenge and just keeps yapping about it. I'm not even mad at sun for sending that guy back to the hell he came out from. Bro willingly walked back and was recording out in the open without being observant 🤦It's like he wanted to be caught

I understand that Jay left for something important, I don't think he did anything wrong by leaving. I just think it wasn't a good idea to leave sun alone with just ONE bodyguard when he knows how nasty his opponents are and how stubborn sun can be.
Sun should not have gone alone with no plan at all, what was he expecting really?. I understand that he was worried about sky but going alone with no back up plan was not okay
I haven't read the manhwa so all my information comes from the series and thank you for clarifying that the van was a crew van because I didn't understand why he willingly went inside

Everybody just be acting stupid in episode 9😩😩. Jay is aware of the type of people he's dealing with and left sun with just one bodyguard. Sun knows there are people out for his head and is casually wandering in lonely places at night, he also didn't tell sky or the manager to watch their backs because they might be in danger, why? just why? if someone was threatening your friend why won't you let the friend know so they can be more vigilant.That aside, Sky then decides to enter a black out van as a taxi? I don't understand, when he saw the van did it look like a taxi to him?. The bodyguard is also stupid because unless jay didn't tell him why sun needed protection he shouldn't have let sun out of his line of sight 🤦

The only reason I enjoyed duang with you was because of duang. His character was so dramatic and funny
