good story, beautiful cast but something wasn't quite right!
I love Wang Churan and I’m a huge fan, but I kept watching and thinking this role genuinely felt like it was written for Zhao Lusi. From the styling and outfits to the overall execution and emotional tone of the female lead, Zhao Lusi would have absolutely owned this character and brought a different kind of charm and depth. It’s such a shame we missed what could have been an incredible opportunity to see Zhao Lusi and Zhang Linghe together on screen, because their pairing would have been amazing. Enchanting!
I loved everything about this drama. the story kept giving without feeling overwhelming. so many layers to the plot and was very glad the 2nd ML did not turn out to be an evil person.they managed to deal all the issues and mystery before the final episode. I only wish we got to see them together in the modern day. a very enjoyable watch. shame it did not get the views it deserved but you can tell the cast and crew poured three heart into this. I gave it 9.5 because the delay in release meant the special effects where a little outdated.

Ever since that show ended, I have been searching for a drama that treats its characters' feelings and internal struggles with this much respect and depth.The Eternal Fragrance successfully brings that authentic, deeply emotional Xianxia energy straight into 2026, making me fall in love with the genre all over again.What makes this show so special is its deeply human heart. Even though it is set in a massive fantasy world, the core of the story is all about the raw, vulnerable emotions of the characters. The absolute highlight of the series is the incredible partnership between Song Weilong and Ju Jingyi. They don't just play standard lovers; they truly feel like "forever soulmates" bound by a shared moral compass.
Their chemistry is built on mutual respect, sacrifice, and a deep understanding of each other's pain. You can see it in every single look they share.Behind the thrilling plot, which gives us constant excitement, complex double love triangles, and heartbreaking betrayals. is a beautiful story about choice and loyalty.
