I agree with you, I didn't word my point correctly I didn't mean to say being unfamiliar doesn't make someone a better judge I meant that they'd have a different view of the performances, yess popularity plays a role here but that is how a survival show works ur old fans and the new fans u gain will help you win, it's not any of the directors fault that their works are well received by many people about title sequence I felt only Hash was not shown properly the others did well with their parts, even the other judges felt that she could've used expressions that would've highlighted her more cuz she was the only one who had a different dance style in the video than the others

Jeez after reading through the comments here I feel like am I watching the same show as the others cuz wth 😭 I binged all 6 available episodes in one go and I can certainly say that they're not showing the amount of favouritism as much as yall are exaggerating here yess minjun is exceptional but he did have a disadvantage in the recent mission and I kid you not as a dancer myself and a kpop fan, we fans just don't want kpopish style all the time he genuinely was worried for no reason, yes at first it's a normal reaction but still he did a good job and as for the Bada and Kooyoung hate here 😭 wth, tbh I don't stan NCT but I came across few of their stages especially Taeyong's solos he has a unique taste in terms of main parts and the choreography these 2 came up with for him highlighted damn well plus this is a director's competition so outfits, lights and props are of equal importance as the dance in that case they won because they served everything that his fans wanted bruhh, and I have only seen few out of the 10 directors on my feed and even if I recognised them I didn't know much about any so since the first episode I was neutral to all and didn't have any biased view I will appreciate anyone checks out all the boxes of being a director, so looking at the comments saying the show is only based on popularity umm I'm not so sure cuz as a neutral audiance it kinda gives you a better mind to evaluate every performance but when u have a fav you tend to lean towards their performance and as for haters be it for any of the directors just because ur fav is on trend or has a ppt of achievements doesn't automatically make them the best got it, alot of times they can fail to come up with powerful or catchy concepts and it's ok cuz they're human too they ain't gonna be perfect everytime jeez btw about the title film sequence the one's who are saying Hash was too good to be given that tiny bit, I really agree but from a dancer's perspective even if you get the smallest part you gotta put ur own flavours to it that's what makes you a true talent, I felt she was too focused on being worried about getting less screentime that she kinda fell short on slaying her part especially the collar pull and fight off part in the last half she could've given a powerful expression you know like how Babyzoo ate with the expressions after the chorus during the group part and yes special mention to Minjun's Last stage performance I loveddd it. This is my opinion, if anyone is gonna fight me here for it yall better have a good reason 😭 I don't want evil editing or popularity ahh fights like be fr they're popular for a reason man and mnet is kinda known for its trashy editing at the end of the day they're doing their job that they love, why are we fighting over it 😭 so let's enjoy the show and also probably learn a thing or two from it personally I loved the details and outfits from many performances kinda taught me a few new stuff too, so no hate to anyone directors i'mma support all of them and check out their work outside this show too

I totally agree with you but with the current situation I feel if hewen chose xiaoyu it will seem like she is a rebound person just cuz yuer didn't work out and we both know xiaoyu is worth wayyyy more than that she needs sm1 who she can lean on too and not just be the one to open up others

Xiaoyu is a mature woman who from the very first day in the show knew hewen was interested in yuer and that her chances were pretty low she only wants hewen to open up more about his feelings instead of shutting them in as no one will ever find out what he wants or thinks and yes she was an absolute angel to everyone out there she silently gave space to them and didn't forcefully ask or take anyone out on a date and she definitely ain't childish and stubborn like some ppl, on top of that hewen is ignoring her yet she was kind enough to not ask him about it cuz she took the hint that it was because of yuer and mind you she doesn't treat yuer like a rival unlike the other one, well as for the other 3 from a viewer's perspective yuer and xilun though they seem old enough they are still immature when it comes to love life and as for hewen needs to learn how to express himself or be with someone who naturally makes him talk about his feelings
