I'd suggest you to not waste your precious time on this sh** ty show, there's many other good shows out there to invest your mind and time on.

IDK about others but I've learned firsthand that when someone teases you with something as a joke, they tell you exactly what they think of you...its usually their genuine thoughts/hard truths which they speak with the safety net of 'Just Kidding.'

So, she can actually meet her ex, hug him but He can't even pretend to meet his ex (sister). Was he petty?? YES. but if my GF can't declare our relationship to her ex, meets him and even i have to witness them hugging...I'd be more than just being petty.

He's the actively involved in their relationship, introduced her to his friends as his GF, whereas she can't even admit to her bestfriend that he's her boyfriend. she never shares anything, never consider his feelings, in fact never even try to explain or clear the air instead when luke confronts her she just walks away saying him having a sharp mouth....how's that behaviour justified. all this conbined ofc he'd doubt her love for him to the point he even considers himself not fit/good enough for her.

its not bad but 8.7? naah!! There are many better dramas which are rated quite low/mid.
I guess....mostly in cdramas, ratings depends on the actors involved.

They will always be okay with the FL making him jealous intentionally or unintentionally but won't be okay when ML show some spine and confront the issue/FL.

luke's behaviour can be justified in this episode. idc if you find it funny seeing luke watching the ex taking care of her gf, that's your POV but any normal viewer will find it infuriating and disgusting. similarly, as you said if i were luke, i'd be the one initiating the breakup not the other way around. she's 10% more a red flag than luke.

ofc you won't find her at fault (POV video served its purpose), this is a cdrama !! All the blame has to fall upon ML alone by default, even if FL has equal share of mistakes, Drama will always victimize the FL, while ML must fight his jealousy, self-esteem, 2MLs, 3MLs, random admirers, cross seven oceans etc.., to win back the girl. (at the end FL will accept the ML as if doing him some favor and the drama won't even show her realizing her mistakes and apologizing for it....All the apologies must pour from the ML)

Will be interesting if they will release any video of FLORA's POV. (I'd really like to know atp how she thinks of this mess they created and if she finds herself at fault even for a bit)

i don't understand why majority of them are defending zheng shi's actions while bashing Qi Zheng for his behaviour after ZS death. (well its understandable why he behaved that way)

First of all, ZS was always doing things to please/pursue FY, he was never about doing good things for better world, FY was all about her career and seen him just as friend and she clearly told him and drawn the line around ep 24-26 something i don't exactly remember. All this while QZ was also pursuing her (my personal opinion: i felt due to his overly childish behavior FY never considered him and his feelings serious initially ) QZ always supported her choices from divorce to FY dream of becoming an Official, He chose to wait for her suppressing his feelings, Although FY tried to dodge away from it initially but the thing is she never rejected or drawn the line with him like she did with ZS, and we all as viewers could see that she felt something for QZ but she isn't aware herself and her being focused on her career is the major roadblock for her to accept it.

In the final arc we finally see FY accepting her feelings for QZ, but she also trusted ZS as his friend so much that she agreed for the fake marriage thing to enter the city, But what did ZS did?? he tried to take advantage of the situation, put her in house arrest, while she clearly told him that she loved Qi Zheng and despite her rejection he continuously tried to force FY to marry him by threatening her with QZs life,. HE EVEN FORCEFULLY KISSED HER i really wanted FY to slap her and put him in place but nevermind, screenwriters were on steroids. I saw many of them defending his actions stating QZ also did the same to her many times!! like what?? YES QZ forced kiss on FY several occasions but she never had a problem with it, never complained and infact reciprocated it as somewhere down the line FY had feelings for him.

And finally, i saw many comments bashing Qi zheng for getting insecure and jealous over a dead man.!! Like Seriously???
From my opinion QZ was not jealous, he was just angry at Fan yun, (he always acted pushy, childish an gentle towards FY throughout the drama even when jealous he was never angry with her....but this exact moment when Fan Yun decided to stay in the city he lashed out on her and confronted her for the first time which clearly shows he wasn't jealous but ANGRY), he expected she'd put him first over any other person and who'd not? AND his anger was justified He literally saw ZS and her beloved FY almost getting married and FY crying over ZS right in front of him when ZS jumped down the cliff and we all know Fan yun wasn't staying back just to maintain the order of the city but for the guilt that ZS could've been saved if she fed him the TEA. she clearly wanted to look over Zheng Shi's last rites and mourn him, And Qi Zheng clearly knew all that, he had every right to get angry and suspect whether her feelings for him were even true or not, FY too knew by her staying back would hurt QZs feelings yet she decided to stay even after how ZS mistreated her in this arc. WHY wouln't be QZ angry when your beloved cry over someone who liked her in front of you and is ready to neglect your feelings and after all that you've sacrificed for her just to ditch you and mourn someone else. I know it sounds selfish and petty but its human nature, we all will do and react the same if we were in QZs shoes.

Note: If there was any other actor played SML/Zheng shi role instead of Deng Wei, you all woul've bashed and bashed him all the way, but since its Deng Wei you all are OKAY with it. this shows the hypocrisy and DOUBLE STANDARDS you all have as someone's fan. For me ZS in his last arc was unacceptable and disgrace. He should've taken the tea antidote when FY rejected to serve him saying she already drank the tea with Qi Zheng and would not drink or serve anyone else but instead what Zheng SHi did?? He killed himself in front of FY knowing this will trap her in guilt as that tea was the antidote which she refused him to serve.

OVERALL, this was a messy poorly written drama with a stellar cast. don't know why i never liked a drama involving Li Yi Tong.

NOW.....where are those who were defending Miao Jing being close to her Ex stating they're just co-workers?? Constantly flirting and entertaining your ex while making ML jealous despite knowing his true feelings...boy only C-dramas FLs can get away with this without any consequences and worst part is majority of the viewers will still defend her actions......I'M DONE WITH THIS DRAMA

but why always FL's ex why not ML's ex (oh sorry he doesn't have one)...it would have served the same purpose. (ohh wait...audience love to see jealous ML....woah Groundbreaking trait)

we can assume everything for the ML here as his past is not clearly known or told to us. but my point was not directedfor this particular drama alone, im taking in general, c/k-dramas tend to follow this trait more often than not which may be pleasing or justified for few audiences but overusing it in like 90% of the dramas?? its boring and uncreative. not every drama needs to have a SML having a crush/fling/ex with FL and ML had to be a simp. for me in this drama if they decided to tone down chen yi and i'd expect the same for Miao Jing as well. This drama would've been doing fine without this trait and unnecessary inclusion of SML
