Charlie

I'll start off this review with my least favourite part of the show just to get it out of the way, the sister. Good lord is she stupid, i get that she's young but be prepared to want to throw something at the screen everytime she appears, what an idiot, not the actor, just the character, think my least liked character in recent memory.

On to the series though, it's brilliant, i started watching late as i knew waiting weekly would stress me out and its definitely a really good show to binge watch as i didn't want to stop watching. The story is a little predictable, and you do have to suspend your disbelief at times but i think you have to do this with most crime shows.

The chemistry between the 2 male leads is phenomenal, i can understand people wanting this to be a BL, but it works so well as a bromance as well. Personally i choose to believe its just a very slowburn BL where a future season (or fanfiction) shows their romantic side. Please don't dismiss this show if you are a BL fan wanting pure romance, it has all the elements you could ask for and it is definitely worth giving a try if you like the harsher dramas.

I'd probably put this series in my top 5 that i've watched this year!
