I didn't join MDL to have the perfect watchlist.

I joined because I love **stories**. 🎬

Stories that make me laugh, cry, overthink, fall in love with fictional characters, get angry at fictional decisions, and occasionally stare at the screen wondering what I'm supposed to do with my life after the finale. 😭

Sometimes I watch for the story.

Sometimes for the characters.

Sometimes for the chemistry.

Sometimes for the acting, cinematography, music or simply the atmosphere.

And sometimes I can't even explain why I love a drama.

One thing you'll probably notice about my profile is that my ratings are **very personal**.

<u>**My rating reflects how much I enjoyed and connected with a drama — not whether I think it is objectively perfect.**</u>

A drama can have flaws and still be a 10/10 for me.

I can notice the flaws.

I can understand the criticism.

And I can still say:

**“Yeah... I loved it.”** 😭💗

I absolutely loved it. Just a few little things kept it from my personal 10.

I had a great experience and there was a lot to love, even if it didn't completely steal my heart.

A genuinely good drama with far more things I liked than disliked.

I enjoyed it, but there were noticeable things that held it back.

A good watch, but I wasn't deeply attached to it.

## 𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ📖 𝑵𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒔 & 𝑨𝒅𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔

I also love reading novels, so adaptations are especially interesting to me.

If I've read the novel before watching the drama, I'll probably notice the changes — characters, relationships, plotlines, endings, little details... basically everything my brain decides to remember. 😭📚

But I don't believe an adaptation has to copy the novel word-for-word.

You can love something I hate.

I can love something you hate.

You can give my favourite drama a 5/10.

I can give yours a 10/10. 😭

And that's completely okay.

I don't think every different opinion needs to become an argument.

Sometimes I'll read a criticism and think:

*“Oh... I never looked at it that way.”* 👀

Sometimes I'll think:

*“I understand your point, but I still loved it.”* 😂

And sometimes I'll simply scroll away because **not every opinion needs a response.** 🌷
