ok I've completed this one and I absolutely Loved it. I'm rating it a 9/10 just because no kiss scenes plus leopard was annoying asf,outside of that this was almost close to a masterpiece tbh.

Rewatching this drama and realizing that the pink Car Chenyi drove might be the best part of this drama and most especially an object of their special bond,it's also one of the most outstanding car colour I've seen so far in a 90s modern drama,I really love it lol.
Also adding,what made this drama more Lovable for me is the fact that the male lead is an actual complex Male character but treated the FL well at least for the most part.

Their arc when they were in that forest area and he tried to kill her and she turned quickly,I found that so funny lol😂😂 the enemies to lovers was pretty well done.

I didn't know Song weilong had such an impressive historical aura...no shade but I was one of those that judged his historical dramas negatively but after watching this drama,Wow he exudes serious masculine general coded and rebellious prince aura! sorry I judged him wrongly,I feel I should explore his fimography more,he needs more roles like this with a better wig tho,The guy is an insanely good actor tbh.

I'm done watching TES so I'm back to my Lore!! Still my favourite modern cdrama this year. Chenyi and Miaojing♥️

I'm seeing people say Bai jinting,Li xian,cheng lei bla bla bla,sorry none of them can be Luan Nian. this isn't about Having the tough Look,it's about bringing the character to Life and Jing boran did exactly just that! so stop asking "which other actor can bla bla bla" If they were the ones as MLs in this series,I will never watch it,their gaze don't do it for me at all neither are they "Hot" enough sorry. I may hate Luan Nian nasty character but Jing boran is PEAK among actors in their 30's Just so y'all know. and pls don't bring up actors in their 20's cause they'll def get hotter when they clock 30's too.

You really understand the negative effect,since you said you are also a younger audience,I'm glad you're smart enough not to fall for the trap the illusion of this drama is trying to pass,I wish so many young women also feel this way too,it's ok to admire toxic good looking men but only do that from a distance cause really that's where they belong -DISTANCE. I enjoyed so many green flag male leads this year btw and as someone who dived into idol dramas,I really enjoyed the experience,I mean I wished I was younger and Luckier🤣🤣 Glad my insight resonated with you☺️

He definitely is toxic cause at first,I felt he was complex or a bit complicated but with time,he grew into a total Jerk,Way too controlling and very distant emotionally. I also noticed he seemed nicer to her when they are physically touchy or like when he's horny but outside of that,He sees her as Beneath him which of course the whole drama revolves around their Power imbalance but isn't it actually ok for him to make her feel more comfortable? this reminds me of Emperors in the past who hurt women and expects them not to react and just worship them,except...he's a modern day emperor I guess😆💔

Domestic violence is a huge crime although occurs more frequently than you think in modern day china.when I was a teenager I grew up with really toxic American romance dramas and yes they messed with my relationship ideas when I grew older but I overcame. the younger audiences won't escape the wave of air but since it's what is trending,well we can't do anything about it,I hope they learn to seperate and decipher cause its really a huge trap to meet toxic handsome men in Real life, they'll mess with your mental health but once they apologize,you find yourself back in their arms,talking out of experience and it was not a good one btw💔💔

i feel she's one of those actresses whose charm rely solely on scripts. I've noticed some actors and actresses have natural charm that even in bad scripts their Aura still shines but she's that type of actress that ONLY shines in well written dramas, thankfully she chooses well written dramas and her vibe is very modern too,she's insanely pretty tho.💯✨
