you are right it's indeed a lighthearted drama hence the name. It's not the gritty type and the novel also shows that btw.

He's definitely good at acting,just that his acting is better in Historical dramas. in modern dramas however,it feels a bit complacent.

He's a very impressive actor,Would Love to see him on bigger screen,I think he deserves movies and all those CCTV serious dramas,he also has the visuals for it and his emotions are always on point.

just a casual watcher but I think they both have versatile portfolio in their dramas tho,just that the popular dramas in their portfolio internationally are just repetitive. you might try Seven relics of omen,Bionic Life,Everlasting Longing for ML and Reset,Princess Royal for FL.

I'm starting this one next,Watched episode 1 and got hooked!!

The story of this drama is just genuinely all over the place,yes I really Loved EPs 1 to 20 but after that....idk what happened... Anyways my only major Compliment is that the male lead is Insanely Good looking,like super handsome I thought he was AI😂

I discovered this drama by chance and decided to try eps 1 and I really Loved it,Something about their Romance and Chemistry that got me,not a fan of Slowburn dramas especially modern ones but I surprisingly enjoyed Love for you.
My major highlight is the Acting of the male lead,He really brought Chenyi to Life and he made me believe at some point that he was more of a Gang leader than just an actor😂 and honestly that's the mark of a good actor. I also love the transformation of the FL from the naive little girl to the mature woman,it felt like a really suitable Modern drama for me atp.

My major complaint tho,I felt like some scenes were cut,not enough of their chemistry in the middle arc and the business talk was a bit all over the place around eps 22 to 24 but despite that,I enjoyed it for most part. not exactly a fan of the pink car,but each time I see it the nostalgia just fits😂😂 of course it's a 90's drama.
Also cenye and tuli,their arc wasn't well explored especially. when they stared back at each other we didn't get much of a backstory to what connects them.

The male lead low-key reminded me of a modern day emperor,he had three pretty women who Liked him lol. I mean he looks good so I forgive that😂

Other than that,I enjoyed it overall.💯
