After Ep 7 - Genuinely, I'm super confused with the plot. Crossing parallel universe is already a headache itself, but their past lives and curse also adds to thw confusion. Can someone with working braincella kindly make sense of the current plot 🥹🥺. Thanks
For me till ep 6 the series was good enough for one time watch and i knew it from the start its going to be his…
Was also confused and thought Haram liked Gyeon. But he had a scene being all heartbroken when deleting album pics of Doha. I think what Gyeon intended to say was along the lines of 'You don't like Doha, because if you did you wouldn't hurt the one you love'
Honestly the best friend duo dynamics and complexities was written well. If the drama focused on a single storyline with a single Lead, this would be great like focusing solely on the secret angst childhood friends to lovers trope OR the workplace romance setting.
The mysterious bf x love quadrangle dragged down the story quality a lot. Doha as a character is also not fully fleshed out. Aside from the obvious connection with the best friend, the story did not show how the other Leads (esp. the barista) fell for Doha. This means the viewers are forced to look at Doha's character for the reason why -- which is basically non-existent aside from being a pouty confused and oblivious klutzy shell.
I honestly feel bad for the characters and actors because the story had great potential. The production, cinematography, editing, and sound design/ music scoring is also amazing. It's just the script and writing was disappointingly bad.
So is he going to continue working in kdrama and movies?
Sadly not really. The drama began filming in 2021 and set to release in 2023 which was before his scandal broke out. The team had plans in re-shooting or cutting him out, but it was claimed to be difficult to do so. They released it now in 2025 with him unedited out with hopes of time minimizing yoo ah in's scandals impact to the film's release.
Armin's character is so cringe because why would you act like that? Given that you're from the future, at least be discreet. Always airing out on loudspeaker or giving hints that he came back, mentioning about the past. Like come on!!!
