THIS REALLY NEEDS A HIGHER RATING (at least 8.0+). IT'S SO GOOD!!!
The actors are great since they've been in the industry for how long. They can really act their part and walk the talk. Every expression, every line exceptionally conveys the feelings and character. The script is well done too! I'd backtrack and rewatch some lines/scenes with how beautiful the prose is. Also the way they slowly reveal things and details abt the plot and msystery hooks you in. Every episode would want you watching for more. Overall it's wonderfully done for what it's worth despite the shooting locations being minimal lol. I hope this can continue and not fall off towards the ending.
On October 17, 2025, a netizen posted a long article claiming that he was beaten and suffered two skull fractures by actors including Liu Yichang because he refused to drink with them. It is understood that Liu Yichang himself has been detained in a detention center because of this incident. The case involving Liu Yichang has been transferred to the People's Court to await trial in the criminal court
In Taiwanese BL, most seem to have the same vibes lol from HIStory series to Smile After You to this. They always have that whimsical goofy vibes.
Anyways, so glad we've finally seen this drama came to light lol. It was 3 years ago since it was announced and it's been a year and a half since it started its filming.
Although I know it's dark comedy, I really feel for the wife/mother GyeongHui. Imagine both of your family betrays you for both women right across the street.
I'm thinking how would they show the remaining episodes... with the pace of the series, this is already at least…
Spoiler: I mean yeah if i remember there's still the following scenes which i think would fit an episode length: -reading the letter, finding out about their childhood encounter at the park, saeki's backstory -toda busying himself with work and sad gay montage -i guess toda and saeki finally meeting again can stretch to 1 ep -reunion from intro of episode 1
So I'm quite stumped with how would they pace the story from here on. Though additional story changes are quite welcome with the adaptation.

The agency behind his actor group Newname (nnekorea) is really strong and dedicated. So far, they managed to bag main roles or major support roles for their actors even in their debut works. ● Gyubin is getting his name more known for his main role in See You at Work Tomorrow. He's also rumored to be the replacement actor for Bongseok in the 2nd season of the very popular series, Moving. Talk about visibility. ● Kim Taeyoung as Yugyeom in In Your Shining Season left a mark to viewers with his visuals and acting. He also starred in the True Education adaptation. ● Woo Hyunjun gained attention for his works in Last Summer and Honour. No acting role news yet for their fourth actor member, Kim Jun. We'll see.
