The only thing thats bothering me slightly here is the eyebrow on fleek of He YanKai. It looks tattooed on 😆😆. Doesn't help that his character frowns a lot --- emphasizing those shaped eyebrows.
I have poor media literacy, but does anyone know what kind of wish Uncle Hua did? Was it more about wanting to exile himself on the island (escape from the main island) to atone for his sins and guilt. (Also it's a great but sad aspect that he keeps making paper boats to sail bc he couldn't get on an actual one)
Can somebody spoil me the ending for each Miyama Siblings' marriages. Do they get divorced or what. Obviously except the ML and FL because it's a HE giveaway. Thanks!
Title: Sister, He Really Is My Brother-in-Law | 姐,他真是我姐夫ML: Chen Si | 沉思FL: Han Yutong | 韩雨彤SML:…
Shi Kang shines the most in these kind of roles! His youthful face and sunshine visuals gets watered down when he do domineering or cold overbeaeing ML roles.
For anyone who wants to know the full plot storyline summary. Spoilers below:
Killer Seo Yi-do breaks into Heo Dong-hwa's house to carry out a mission. However, for some reason, he fails to complete the operation and receives orders from his boss, Choi Mu-geon, to stay longer. Just then, Dong-hwa's longtime friend, Chu Tae-jeong, arrives and mistakes the flustered Yi-do for Dong-hwa's older brother, Heo Dong-jin, who had left for the U.S. to study long ago. Having inadvertently taken on the role of his brother, Yi-do attempts to eliminate Tae-jeong but discovers that he is a police officer, thus beginning a strange cohabitation.
Meanwhile, Chu Tae-jeong, who has returned to his hometown to investigate his father's death, grows close to Dong-jin. However, upon hearing from his old friend Kang Cheol-jin that Dong-jin died last year, he continues the cohabitation to uncover the identity of the man impersonating Dong-jin, the truth behind his father's death, and Dong-hwa's whereabouts.
During this time, Tae-jeong discovers Dong-hwa imprisoned in an underground dungeon and learns that Yi-do is a killer. Confused as he recalls Yi-do's affectionate past, Tae-jeong is left in a state of turmoil. However, to save Donghwa, he hides his anxiety and searches for the key. When Yido, who has fallen for Taejeong, fails to properly carry out his mission, Moo-geon sends another killer to eliminate him. Upon learning this, Yido tries to escape with Taejeong, but Taejeong, who does not trust him, refuses. The two, who had been clashing intensely, confirm their irresistible attraction to each other.
That night, after much deliberation, Taejeong helps Donghwa escape without Yido's knowledge. Donghwa, who had appeared kind, turns violent after escaping and locks Yido up. Just then, the killer arrives and threatens Taejeong and Donghwa, and after a bloody battle, Donghwa kills the killer. Through the killer's last words, Taejeong realizes that Donghwa is connected to his father's death and interrogates him. Just as he is cornered, Cheol-jin joins the fray, and Taejeong is also trapped along with Yido. Donghwa, who had planned to have Cheol-jin erase the traces and escape, realizes Cheol-jin's betrayal and kills him. Donghwa, who had intended to kill Taejeong as well, eventually meets his end at the hands of Yido.
To save Taejeong, Yido lets him go along with the evidence, and chooses a head-on confrontation with Moogun to escape his life as a killer. Although he is severely wounded and on the verge of death, the returning Taejeong saves Yido.
Three years later, Taejeong, having resolved all the cases and retired from the police force, goes in search of Yido, who has been missing since that day, and the two share a passionate reunion.
