never thought I'd love this as much as I did

what a wholesome show, loved the FL so much that i don't even mind MZYs acting as much, the ML is chef's kiss, this character was brought to life by He Yu, such a brilliant actor

even the supporting characters had such rich stories

One of my comfort shows

I've found myself missing this show and remembering it fondly alot lately and after watching Sniper Butterfly, i decided it's time for a rewatch

i adore this show, the story, the complexity of the characters, the pacing, everything just makes you feel like you're being told a compelling story that grabs your attention

i miss these kinds of authentic Chinese daily life shows, just magnificent

its sooo bingable haha, finished it 24 hours. just couldnt stop after i started. love it

loved every bit of it and was entertained the whole ride

I'm only on episode 4 but i think Xihe's nose should be the 3rd main lead here

girl can sniff out a bomb in the next county

lmaooo it was "office blah blah blah" indeed

permit me to borrow this and use it more often

never really knew or even cared about the MCs careers, skipped everything about that

your comment actually made me realize I've been watching loads of blah blah blah, and I'll start religiously cutting out anything that looks like fillers

except of course in shows like Rational Life where that was a big part of their life and it was actually interesting to follow

what a gem of a show, literally devoured this in 24 hours

i don't know if I watched the same show with some of the commenters here, because wdym FL is selfish?

one of the most mature & kind FLs I've ever seen, she gave so much, how could he not fall hopelessly in love with her

always wanted the best for him and never treated him less when their relationship dynamic changed

this was such a surprise treat

the chemistry was SIZZLING HOT and i enjoyed their interactions so much

i must admit though, till i finished i had zero idea what either of the leads do, someone referred to it as "office blah blah" lmaooo

I'll be borrowing that description to use more often

i literally skipped everything pertaining their jobs, including the 2nd couple, didn't watch them at all

but i still gave this a 10 because I enjoyed every step of the MCs journey

this made me want to rewatch Rational Life, Why women love & My fated boy soooo bad because these are my 10/10 JieDi romance shows

previously dropped this drama at e15, wasn't a fan of the comedy or story

I'm sooooooo glad i gave this a second chance

i laughed so hard, i cried, i was pinned to the screen to the very end

what a gem! if you find that you don't particularly like it, please try again

can't wait for the 2nd season 🥰 10/10

omg Bai Lu, what is that acting in E32 trailer?

an actress that knows exactly how to string your emotions along with her and make you feel exactly how she wants to make you feel

it's just a trailer but damn did i feel a wave of sadness envelope me

she's one of the few CDrama actresses that I truly wholeheartedly love

Cheng lei deserves his flowers too because he's giving just enough for every scene, no overacting nonsense here

don't know why I've never seen this mentioned anywhere before but Lin Mu Ran is almost a carbon cooy of Wu Lei

infact they could play brothers and look like the real deal

the facial structures and even side views are 99% match

omg! there was this familiar feeling of being told such a rich story, not in the conventional way but so intricately written

i immediately remembered Feud, no wonder!

oh jeez, what an absolutely captivating drama

i feverishly caught up to the episodes, eating up every scene

i feel like this is one of those shows that you'd need to rewatch to connect the dots

i confess, at the very beginning, i didn't really understand what was happening, but when things begin to come together it's so rewarding and engaging

like you can't look away from the screen for a second

it's not your typical drama, the plot has depth yet subtle, everything is like this well woven web that's made even more fantastic by the amazing acting of the leads

oh Bai Lu, how i love you, and Cheng lei is so magnetic in this role

that wheelchair fight, and then actually sparring like a god of war chefs kiss

I'm not even concerned about szd or whatever that bug is called, i love a fl that can do alot of damage all by herself and AhLi is a firecracker infact i pity her enemies

this show reminds me of Feud, one of my faves & one of Bailu's best dramas, if you haven't seen that please do as we wait for episodes here

The first time i watched Goblin, i didn't really enjoy or understand the hype

i thought people were exaggerating, i thought it was boring, infact i remember dropping at E8 amd then later grudgingly completing it

i saw an edit of Goblin recently and the OST sent chills down my spine

then i wondered why i didn't really enjoy it, so I decided to rewatch

from the moment I started the first episode i couldn't look away

i felt like this magnetic force kept me glued to the screen

all the other dramas i was watching felt like bland cardboard

i literally couldn't look away till the last episode

i believe this is one of the greatest dramas ever made, believe me there's nothing like it

I've adjusted my rating to 10 and i don't even think it's enough

it's like Crack, you want to inject it in your veins, you'll look for this magical feeling in so many other dramas but you'll never find it

I'm convinced that i have to rewatch so many dramas that i hated or was indifferent to in the past

because this was such a gem, such a masterpiece

p. s. the final minutes of episode 2 is one of the greatest scenes ever made. OSTs, aura, everything 10/10

he was so coded to be likable but his attitude irked me so bad I started to forward his scenes

the ML is the greenest of all flags and I think he has amazing chemistry with the FL

only thing i felt was brushed over was that the ML didn't discover the duplicity of his previous gf
she's my second most hated on the show

she was a cheater that had the guts to give him ultimatums ughh

anyways, thoroughly enjoyed this
pay no mind to the low ratings here

This is severely underrated. Such a ball of sunshine wrapped in a drama and indeed hilarious as the name implies. Nearly lost my breath laughing at Lu Buping and the wild occurrences after joining the family 😂.

I thought it might get less comical as the episodes progressed but I was in for a treat, every episode had me laughing loud. Every character was well suited to their roles, no one trying hard to be funny, everyone has good comedic timing so it made the situations way more entertaining

It's so difficult finding actually funny C/K comedies, this is one of the good ones. 10/10

I really tried to like Goong but I had it when he snuck off on a romantic trip abroad with the evil 2fl 🙄, dropped that so fast

Currently watching playful kiss but at a slow pace, hasn't been that gripping tbh, but it's got some of my fave tropes so I'm hanging in there

Been on a binge of my old faves and watching some older dramas too
