On The Victims' Game Season 2 Sep 22, 2024
I really liked this one. It is quite different to s1 but not bad.
It is something about learning, forgiveness, acceptance and yeah also revenge. But it truly is a well done continuation of s1. The case was also quite interesting and nicely done.
The only thing I kinda found a bit annoying was the role of Hai Yin. She really didnt have much purpose in this season and I do think they could have implemented her better.
But there is a hint for a possible s3 :) so keeping my fingers crossed there
all in all 9,5/10

In the series "reflection of you" he is very good. The drama itself is amazing, it's serious project and Jae Young…
hmmmmm interesting coz he left for me the weakest impression out of all the actors in Reflection of You
so im quite interested to see how he does in this one

I wonder how Lee Yoo Jin feels about being replaced in the role he originated?
he probably does not care about it and is wishing his coworkers good luck?
I mean what else would he have to say to that XD It was clear form the beginning that these 2 would be paired and that they were planning a spinoff with them based on one of her stories .
Heck the moment they announced the drama they had the spinoff announced as well.

Totally agree...actually Netflix production of thriller series incorporates western-ish vibes which most us who…
Nah I wouldnt throw all western productions into the same mix. What most thriller lovers like is a mixture of nordic noir (which is a genre Skandinavien countries are super well known for). OCN implemented that previously into their dramas, when it still did thriller dramas.
What is produced by TvN, and often in cooperation with Netflix, and also probably what you hint at, is a mixture of light thriller + humour that is more something found with US thrillers and loses any of the nordic noir themes. Which, I for one, find darn annoying. Absolutely agreed with you.
MBC, where Black Out is produced, manages occacionally to mix both a bit. So this feels more like the old thrillers. But welp....it hardly ever releases any thriller....
Also, Black Out is based on a German book ;) So the story is not without western influence either.

I really did not enjoy this at all. It was absolutely ridiculous.
Nothing made any sense here, and I get that maybe people liked it for the humour but then make the movie into a parody. This was just very strange

this was actually really really good!
Was it logical? Not really but the story itself worked. It is a dystopian, darkish but at the same time sweet story about a women that finally managed to move on from a tragedy with the help of a little girl.
really not bad 8,5/10

I got almost to the end of ep1 and im not sure its for me... but the reviews are so good
I love the series
but every person is different and thus you should never base your opinion on reviews ;) You might end up overlooking some dramas that are right what you'd enjoy just because of it
actually take that to heart in all aspects of life

Kim Young is so young. He still looks like that little school boy from Penthouse to me.
lol true sometimes he reminds me of his Penthouse role too, same with Han Ji. She had a scene in ep 5 where it really felt like seeing Seok Kyung again.
You should watch the "cooking cast" video on Amazon Prime's YT channel. Kim Young still calls Han Ji his twin sister XD

I don't really agree with a lot of the comments on how the quality of dramas is going down, I just think that…
kinda disagree. I absolutely love this drama but I do think that previously korean dramaland produced overall better stories.
Of course that does NOT mean that there are still not good productions nowadays, but overall there is a decline.
Still this one? Absolutely golden drama. Same with eg. Mr. Queen. These are gems that will never be forgotten.

Age gap my foot if the main leads just make it natural. Nam Ja Yeon is propably the most adorable character I've…
the actress is really doing an amazing job. She plays such a variety of characters in each drama, and you always buy it. Like that shows how much talent she has! Definitely someone to look out for

that work harassment report was so misplaced lmao .. huge exageration almost caricatural
I actually really appreciated that scene. Coz there is a lot of work harassment going on, and holy heck for once someone standing up to you and people actually taking it serious? It really is an appreciated scene.
I like how they make awareness but doing it in a way to just hint at things without trying to lecture anyone.
Really the drama does a lot super well.

such a bizarre movie. Honestly the theme could be made into a Black Mirror episode. It was quite odd. 7/10

So lately i have observed - kdrama makers have evolved .. they have changed their mindset of having 16 episodes…
I don't truly think it has anything to do with writers and more with money and financing.
Same thing why streaming Platforms sometimes decide to cut a series in the middle and make 2 seasons out of it => making people have to buy another 6 months of subscription.
There is rarely any decision taken without more logistic aspects to it ;)
