I totally agree with you...I really don't mind Idol Singers trying out their acting chops...I also don't condemn them ESPECIALLY if it is their FIRST acting role...everybody has to start somewhere although I'm on the fence about giving them the lead role right away, they'll learn with more roles they get (but THERE are some who really don't improve and should just stick to singing)...BUT in Kang Daniel's case he's actually doing a good job admittedly you can still see some awkwardness in his acting but that is too be expected... TBH I prefer KD here that in a hosting gig (like SWF) he seemed awkward and stiff there...
