Maybe it's just me but getting only around ~14mins with 8 episodes of a storyline like this is NOT ENOUGH 😅 like what do you mean we have a BL centered around organ harvesting and we're only having this much airtime??? hahaha
But kidding aside, I feel the story has potential, the main leads maybe we're getting there with the chemistry, and the rawness of it (opening scene of Ep 1, i'm talking about you! haha). I'm not going to expect much but I am looking forward to the last half of this series and where it will take us.
I don't think having social anxiety would make you say "YES" to work in a company you just resigned from with the people who are the very reason you left.
I feel like it's the first time I'd want the main couple to NOT be together. Damn Xingyao, you did our boy Xiu Jie dirty putting him in the friend zone???? Come on!
Nahh just kidding, but I really feel bad for Xiu Jie. 💔
I mean I love the whole romance thing but I hope we are getting a good crime story from this, I'm more invested into how deep the father was in the business. For 8 episodes I fear we'll only get bits and pieces of that story and the romance between the leads but I am so ready to be proven wrong (hopefully).
IDK but i'm getting The Gaze vibes from this one. I can't pinpoint it out but the way the scenes progress i get a sense i've seen it with The Gaze before.
But anyway I just watched the 1st episode today and I love the reunited childhood friend storyline and a broken main character with a whole redemption arc on top of that. I'll try to get to Ep4 before the next ones come in but so far from what i see i'm liking it.
Ok wait haha I can't stop rewatching that whole monologue of the transcriber about the tombstone 😅 I love how unhinged that part was, sorry I know it's supposed to be a sad scene but I just can't help it.
For some reason I always look forward to the opening theme song with the whole "Where's Waldo?" kind of thing where it zooms in to where the characters are. 😅
I love and hate that since Ep 9, these episodes are making me cry and to think today's the final episode. I don't know if I'm ready to watch Ep 11 and 12 today. I'll delay those for next week, that way in my mind it's not ending today.
I subscribed to their Youtube membership, then I remembered I already have Gaga account hahahaha.
Oh well, I think this support is well worth it anyway. I love how the story in Episode 5 unfolded. Also I agree, getting 4 eps. last week and then 1 per week is heart-wrenching! hahaha
Yeah, support the show by watching through official streaming platforms.
The cinematography on this one is just phenomenal, the characters, the story, the chemistry between the leads - easy 10/10. I just wished the subtitles were helpful. I mean sometimes I understand it, sometimes I don't. The English voice dubs don't help either 😅 and it just felt unnatural.
But I will definitely be watching the story unfold for these two.
