you know I questioned my sanity after finishing that one. I couldn't believe I watched through all of that 😅

it is watchable yes, but some find the main protagonist undesirable UNTIL the final episode.

It finally aired, I've been really looking forward to watching these kids on a show again. Watching the first episode, it's not the greatest I know but it has the charm of those old school BL series during the pandemic.

Acting's a bit cringy at times, stiff at other times as well but considering these are just young actors I think what they show is OK. Who knows maybe in future projects they'll grow and learn. There are so many characters though but with 15 episodes I hope they'll be able to give every one and every pair their own time to shine.

Overall, I'd still give this a chance. ♥️

i feel like they knew what they've done with the soup and porridge thing in this series and just made fun of it in the end hahahahaha

also, ladies if a man proposes to you the same way, RUN! RUN and never look back! 😅 What do you mean cook you porridge for the rest of your life?!

You know what I love (and hate at the same time) with this? It's that even after all these years of hiding from Luqing even being in a different country, Xiaofan will always serve his goddamn soup and porridge 🤣🤣🤣

I can't with this series hahahah but you know what that whole revelation thing was OK, could've been better but we're not going to compare K-Drama levels of suspense building and revelation here. I'd still recommend this if someone's going to read this comment and haven't started it yet. Still a nice series to watch.

Seeing these TrueFilm series getting available on GagaOOLala, I'm hoping that they will include the uncut scenes because I will definitely rewatch them. Might change my mind about my rating 🫣🤭

I remember during the pilot I told myself I was going to pass on this one because it's going to be another one of GMM's usual university-based romcom which we have been seeing more and more with their latest set of series—but boy was I so wrong for that and now I'm 2 episodes deep and I feel like this is now my feel good series (this and Your Third at the moment).

The acting still needs some work but I feel a connection there and who knows maybe on their next series we're getting more from them. I like the story simple as it may seem.

And although this maybe disagreeable to some (based on the comments I see here) I don't mind the awkwardness with the 2nd leads, Aun and Stamp does look stiff with their interactions but I don't know that moment on this episode before they went on live kinda screams "cute young love" for me. But yeah, that's just me.

Anyways, 8 more episodes to go. Let's see what's in store 😄

i feel you. I think I did say the same thing on Ep. 3
i think the story is still compelling to watch, it's just the decision making during the filming and post-production probably. At this point, there are already so many characters involved but the story is still yet to form.

I'm still going to watch it though because I need to know what events led to the first scene in Ep 1. If it still didn't pick it up after that is explained, i might rethink my life choices if i'm still going to watch it. 😅

My only gripe with the series which is still happening in this latest episode is that there are some scenes that are unnecessarily lengthened. The constant back and forth between the character's faces matched with sound effects to build up the scene is good but if made faster I think that would be even better.

But still a series worth waiting every single week. I also love that we get to see their present lives alongside the main story. Typically in other series, we'll only get to see this at the end maybe for 1-2 episodes just to see if they're reincarnated and somehow end up in the same place as with everyone. I love that because now we get to see their stories having probably a different/better outcome than with their past lives and not just with the main leads.

it gives me the same vibe as the series from SukFilm was it? It's low-budget and it shows, BUT BUT BUT i'm not complaining though. I feel like for a 1st episode we really got to know the characters, and I honestly can't wait for how Morikawa will always be in the middle of these two's story 😅

Also, it's good to see Izumi's acting after their short with Gennosuke was well-received. I haven't watched that though, not sure where to watch it honestly hahhaha.

So yeah, let's see with the rest of the series.

The last member to be a boy kisser and I'm very happy that it was worth the wait.
That first episode was so good. 😊

I didn't expect their pairing would be this cute, so I think I'll be really sat for this one for the whole series. I feel like we don't get much representation for the fudanshis and finally we got one. ♥️

Ok, I do not like what the parents of Qing Tian's ex are planning. He's dead and the first thing they think of doing is to badmouth him? They are now the public enemy #1 here, then Changyang's sister, and then Shi Yuhao.

He's had a redeeming factor this week after what he's done to help Jialin. So he's out of the hate train—for now. 😅

I love how this series really show us the good, the bad and the ugly of the entertainment industry. At the end of the day it really does come to the public perception on who wins or loses.

I just have one question, what was the meaning of the "marching ants" Lu sent to that guy? Is it like a "game over" signal or something?

Nice first episode! Love that everything is explained already and there's no explaining to do anymore, just letting the story play out. 😆

I wish I can get a bit more emotion from Aun and Stamp, I always feel like they're at the point where they're almost bringing the character to life but somehow is still holding on to it. Like let loose or something and just have fun with the characters. But I'm glad we're getting a full-blown series for these 2 now since Revamp.

I know this is their first series altogether so I'm giving everyone a free pass, I believe they will all be better in acting from here on out.

I said to myself not to watch this one because I've been already watching a lot of high school BL shows and at this point, I feel like if I will add a show to watch it's going to be a mature one—but I just can't help it 😅

So right off the bat we have our popular boy meets awkward silent boy which to be honest I feel like I've seen like a hundred times with JBLs already, but the chemistry between these two I feel like there's something different this time. I kinda want to know as well what's going to be their story so I guess we'll be sat all throughout this series.

Ok first of all, Luke! LUKE! 😍

Now, it's Episode 4 and I think this is where the story is about to begin for the plot since Luke's character is now introduced, I wonder what caused that first scene on Ep 1 since it looks like they got along so well on their first encounter. I hope they explain thoroughly why Great went back to that time period (there're a lot of theories out there) and how he gets back.

It's nice to see more and more characters get reincarnated here and somehow they're all connected (well so far we've seen those who became doctors).

so yeah, I eventually finished Ep 9 this afternoon, picking up where I left off last night and I'm really still dropping this one.

I get that maybe in the novel that Xiao Fan's redemption arc or at the very least the point where he's respected enough as an actual human being is going through so much but fitting all that in to a 12-episode series with the same pace is just not the right thing to do 😅

i mean congratulations for reaching 2056 ahead of everyone else 😅

nahh but seriously, if you like it there's nothing wrong with that. like i said maybe this story is just "not for me". I was also at that point where I'd defend this series with everything I have but I just can't do it anymore hahaha
